.:Name:.Astrilla
This means "Snow sparkling in Starlight." in Inuit. This name is perfect for her; as soon as I saw her I knew her name had to be something beautiful to do with with snow. Her nickname is Astri.
.:Describe her personality in 3 words:.Shy, Beautiful, Quiet.
If there was an flower to describe her it would be a white daisy. Simple, shy in a way, and beautiful.
.:How would she use her powers:. Her powers would be;-
White; The creation of blizzards and snow
She would use this to help cool things or keep them cool; she would only use this for goodness, to help people.
Pink; To become beautiful and make flowers appear.
She would use this to please people and for her own purposes; Astri loves flowers. They also help her look beautiful.

Astri in the snow. The best entry picture I've done!
.:Story:.
Snow fell down gently to the ground. The moon shone and stars twinkled. Underneath the arched sky, a new mother was cooing over her baby. "I shall call you Astrilla, for you were born under the stars." The newly-named baby's eyes sparkled, and Astrilla giggled. The mother stroked her baby's fur. There was never such a perfect night.
In the darkness, hidden, there lay Shadow Creatures. They were black, black as their souls which once existed. And they were hungry, on this particular night. Hungry for souls. They had been hidden for thousands of years, banished from the ice. But now, their labor was over. They were free to roam. These creatures in the open lands were easy targets. The darkness sensed the right time to strike, and did so. It rushed towards the mother, it's cold hands pushing away the baby. The darkness could not eat such fresh soul. Landing with a thump against the cold but soft ground, Astrilla began to wail.
The mother pushed and kicked, and grabbed her precious baby, then fled into a forest of snow. But the darkness was too fast. Wanting to keep her baby's life, the mother buried her baby under some snow, thankful for her white color. Astrilla, in shock, didn't cry, until she wanted her mom. She was hungry, and scared.
The next morning, a great, lumbering, white beast passed her. This beast was a polar bear. Being a mother herself, and having two cubs, she quickly decided to take this wailing baby for her own. She approached the creature, and was mesmerized when the creature produced a blizzard from the jewels on her body. It quaked in fear, and the blizzard became stronger. The polar bear cooed this little baby, and eventually, the baby was tired of its blizzard, and fell asleep. The polar bear gently picked the creature up with her snout, saying "My name is Aga, little one. I shall call you Astrilla, for you were born under the stars." Aga's cubs gently nipped their mother's hind legs, for they were hungry.

5 years later
"Aga, i've been wondering this for ages. We- we're obviously different. If you're not my mom, who is?" Astrilla pondered, pacing the den. "I- It's about time you knew. I'm not your true mom. I found you in the snow 5 years ago. I don't know what happened. All I know is that your mom wanted to protect you, and almost completely covered you in snow. I'm not sure if she neglected you, or was running away from something and left you there. I remember the place I found you; come, i'll show you." Aga said gently, meaning it in the nicest way possible. Astrilla cuddled up in Aga's pure-white fur. "I'll come. But, whatever happens, you're still my mom, even if you didn't give birth to me." Aga stood up and gently padded out of the cave. "Here goes." Astrilla whispered.
When they arrived at the very spot that Astrilla was found, Astrilla shivered. Tiny memories flickered into her head, of a beautiful, warm, comforting dragon. Someone like
her. There was danger nearby. She scanned the air, such as Aga taught her to do, and sensed it to NE. However, behind that, was a comforting smell. One of artic flowers, and of warmth. "Could it be........." Astrilla wondered. "This way." Astrilla whispered to Aga.
They walked across rocky plains until, there was a hole, a cave, in the ground. The last thing Astrilla wanted to do was go in there, but her senses were telling her what she was looking for was in there, somewhere. "In there." She whispered to Aga, who was frigid with fear. They crept, silently, into the dark, scraggy cave.
The feeling was unbearable here. Astrilla could almost gallop towards that loving, beautiful scent. But the cold in here- oh, the cold! Chills creeped down to the bottom of her paws. And the cave was almost pitch-black, being lit only by red, rusty torches which gave off only little light. She couldn't take it anymore. Astrilla raced to the source, finding, almost, fur and jewels being kept in place by chains, which were made of something harder than metal. "Mom?" Astrilla whispered. The ball of fur looked up, and had instant recognition in her eyes. "Astrilla! My baby!" It said. "Mom!" Astrilla replied, hugging her tight.
Nearby, the Darkness hissed. Love coming from that corner was damaging. It flung itself at the source, with a terrified Astrilla fighting to keep it back. Memories flashed through her mind, so vivid it could have been yesterday. Darkness, flinging itself at her mother, her mother fighting back. Her mom covering her in snow to protect her. Suddenly, everything clicked in her mind. First, a small snowflake appeared, then many. Wind blew up, until there was a full fledged blizzard! It flung the dark around the cave, but this only agitated it further.
Rushing towards the mother, the darkness sucked out Astri'lla's mother's soul. "No. No. No! No!" Astrilla cried, placing her paws on her mother's soulless body. Astrilla started to weep, and Aga came over to comfort her. Astrilla's jewels glowed a bright pink, and suddenly, arctic flowers began to spring out everywhere. The goodness of a simple thing like a flower made the darkness wither and die. Flowers were growing all over the cave, now, like an aggressive vine. As Astrilla wept, a single tear formed. It was white, and glowed like the sun on ice. It fell on Astrilla's mother's body, and the chest heaved under Astrilla's paws and she sat up. "Astrilla........." Both mothers and daughter embraced, for Astrilla had fended off the Darkness forever.
(Aga means Mother in Inuit.)
