Maisha [Meaning "Life" in Swahili]

Why you chose this name:

Well, seeing as she is the wolf of "Day," I wanted to choose something with meaning related to new hope. Each day brings new hope, and new life, into the world. Therefore, I thought the name "Maisha" meaning, "Life," in Swahili, would fit nicely.
I chose the language Swahili for her name because they have such a beautiful, graceful culture and language. I have always admired the beautiful meanings you can get out of one, simple word.

Short Personality:

Maisha is a very humorous, light-hearted wolf. She loves a good joke, but as long as no one is hurt in the making. She loves hanging around with others, but once in awhile, is in need of some good old solitude, where she can organize her thoughts, and set her goals and plans for the day. The light pastel female enjoys stretching her mind, and to venture beyond what others ponder. Many, simple, close minded people spend their time worrying and pestering over the smallest of things, while Maisha prefers to open her heart and mind to the world, and really let herself feel, and understand the others around her. This makes empathy an obvious trait for her, as she truly does understand, and given her shy, quiet nature, is always there for anyone who needs to talk. A gentle, kind ear will always be lent to those who only ask, is her motto.

Now that her shy, calm side has been introduced, it's time to give you a glimpse of how she handles other situations. Maisha always tries to remain calm and level-headed during any kind of conflict or quarreling, and has a rather amazing temper. She will take any kind of "abuse" thrown her way, as long as it isn't physical. She rarely retaliates, and instead, kills her enemies with kindness. [Only a figure of speech, of course! XD] She always loves them, though they may not feel the same when it comes to her, and treats them as so. Some may refer to her as "unbeatable" when it comes to her calm, bright attitude. However, opposites are another story. If the wolf "harassing" her happens to be of a completely opposite element, she may lose her cool, if only for a moment. When this happens, she can, and will counter every and any comeback they throw at her with a calm, witty, immediate retaliation. Nevertheless, she maintains a constant, graceful stare that can hold you for days if needed, all the while. She enjoys outsmarting her most disliked enemies, yet doesn't take pride in what she may have said, after.

Why you chose this name: Because she is the creator of day and it was her dreams that first thought of having a day so i figured it suited her...
Short Personality: Warm and sensitive, listens to everything and understands everything that happens around her. There is a glow about her and it might be the strong glow of her eyes or the brightness of her orb, but it warms your heart even when times are the coldest.
Art and/or poem and/or short story*:
Daydreamer, the creator of the day, stood bathed in light, unaware of the cruelty of the hidden man in the bushes. Her orb floated lightly over her shoulders, a prize the man would die to have. She continued on with her day as usual, watching the animals of the day and their strange and mesmerising habits. The cold man however shadowed continuously waiting for her to sleep so he could steal the orb...
However that night when he came to steel it, he found something, or you could say he didn't really not at all, because when he came upon the wolf he could see no orb and therefore could not steel it. The same thing happened every night for weeks, until he decided the wolfs orb was only a figure of his imagination. He had not realised that at night there was no day and no need for the orb to shine, this was why when he came to seek it at night he saw nothing. And no one never would because the creator of night made sure the nights were so dark, the days orb would always be safe.

Telling you that you can get through the day

Is a gift of way, and a way of life that is today

But then he came as a gift, full of hope
And we welcomed him and smiled to him,
Hoping he'd save us from ourselves
And our world.

Most know him as Sun, or light.
Others know him as the heavens.
