A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewls on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mamals such as birds, squirels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to atract females.

Across the Shining morning
the lovly dragon flew
showing her golden gleam
the sunlight shining on her fur

She glided gracfuly and happy
not a care in the world
who would dare attack
someone as graceful as her

She landed near a river
Bending her head to drink
Smiling as she spoted
All the Swiming fish

She gently batted at one
watching it swim away
leting you a joyful giggle
as the others followed its way

She smiled as she took off
watching the ground below
as it glided along below her
geting faster and faster.

who gathed below her

she started to head home
as the sun started to set
deaming of the next day
and what fun she would have



One day when Gwen was stroling along she spoted a filed of flowers and headed over to sniff some, tail gem glowing faintly. She smiled as she bent her head to sniff some flowers jumping as she set some alight with her tail"oh come on"she cried puting it out quickly. Her tail tip twitched agian and she turned to glare at it"why wont you stay still"she grumbled starting to chase it, giggling faintly before taking off across the fild, Smiling as the flowers moved past her before rolling over in them leting the sent and petals mix in her fur and mane, enjoying the lovely feeling of the flowers beneath her before laying on her side with a giggle and looking at them, with joy filled eyes.

Why yes i have a pet, my little husky Shasta. Hes suched the cutest little ball of fluff, look at him hes chasing my tail, Shasta no look out for the table with the vase on, too late. Shasta come here help me hide this before someone sees and we both get in trouble.


My best friend is, Shasta of course but i also have another one, its the JMD Saphira and her pet Blue Bird, Aqua. Hello saphira, oh the vase, um,a train knocked it over, yes a train. What do you mean why iam i lieing iam not lieing, hehe, fine it was Shasta, but it was a acadent i sware. Really,youll help us hide it, yay.

My favert animal is a wolf, or my lovely Husky Shasta, ant her just the sweetes, chaseing my tail agian, oh dear Shasta come back i didnt mean to light your tail on fire, please come back her so i can put it out. Hyper❖Fun-loving❖Overreacts❖Bossy
The word hyper can describe itself, but I'll try to explain it. The definition of hyper is hyperactive or unusually energetic; eating sugar makes you "hyper". I wouldn't call it unusual, I would define hyper as very happy, unexpected, and random. That's Mandarin in a nutshell!
Fun-loving? Well, I assume all of you know what fun is. That great feeling when you enjoy yourself with friends (or without)! Well, Rin loves fun, and usually, will do anything in order to have fun. Live, laugh, love is practically her motto.
All people-and dragons-have downsides, but hey, nobody's perfect. We all have flaws, and this is one of hers. She can overreact, make up stories in her mind to worry or excite herself, or jump to conjectures; she accepts ideas that are not proven.
The very last bit, she can be bossy and sometimes orders others around. This is only because she wants to feel big, like a leader, not like a small outcast.

Rin's dress swayed in unison with the willow branches as she pranced to the lake. It wasn't visible now, she just needed to pass through the thick bush barrier. Rin brushed her way in easily, and stared out over the lake. It's still waters were untouched, as were the flowers around it, still glazed with morning dew. She smiled, quickening her steps into a run, and collided with the pool of water with a splash and a echoing laugh. As she drew herself upwards, she sensed another dragon. Rin halted, twitched her ears, and simply waited. Her sense was confirmed by the sound of pawsteps! She ducked hastily, only her nose above the surface. "Hello?" called a voice. Don't answer, don't answer, Mandarin told herself. The dragon took a few more steps, revealing himself-a green dragon, with brown X markings and dark crimson wings, along with a ruby jewel. Something urged Rin to speak-"Who are you, and why are you here?!" she demanded. The dragon looked amused. "Hey, hey, calm down. I didn't know. If you want me to leave, then I will."

That's all I remember, 'cause that was two years ago! We're friends, now though!
