(Sorry, Not feeling up for art today! Maybe later! But here's my short story! :) )
Short Story:
Devonte was a most curious little fellow. He had stripes on his back, and he had horns on his head. The main thing most creatures noticed about him was that he seemed to have more than one tail, and that he had wings but could not seem to fly. No one knew where Devonte came from. His parents were unknown. He was raised by a foster parents, who found him on their doorstep one day.
One day, Devonte decided to have a wandering about in their garden. He never actually seen the garden before, for his foster parents decided that Devonte was quite a messy child from the start, and Devonte was. He also hated and disliked baths, though he looked quite handsome with his beautiful stripes seeming to be glistening in the sun after he had bathed.
Knowing that his foster parents would not let him in the garden, he didn't tell them. He made himself a sandwich and grabbed a few other things he might need, and entered the garden.
The garden was unike anything Devonte ever saw. It was filled with flowers and grasses, trees and bugs, and not to mention a few snails. A rabbit hopped up to him. "Hello, Devonte. Nice day." Devonte frowned. "How do you know my name?" He asked. The rabbit replied, " Your parents told me. That is, your real parents." "Who are they?" Devonte asked. But the rabbit was already gone.
He later met a snail. "Hello Devonte! Nice to see you here!" Then, under his breath, the snail muttered about his parents making a spell, poor Devonte. Devonte frowned. "Where are my parents?" He asked, wanting to know the way. The snail gave him a map and slowly moved away.
Devonte followed the directions and entered into a cave. "Hello?" He asked. Voices echoed in the cave. "Welcome Devonte. We've been expecting you." Boomed a voice. Two creatures that looked like a goat and fox mix and a wolf appeared before him. "Devonte, we know that you might not believe this, but we are.." The wolf started, before Devonte rudely interrupted. "Are you my parents? Why didn't you... why do I have foster parents then? why are you here? What is this.." "Woah, slow down little fella!" The fox-like creature, who claimed to be Devonte's father said. "We had to wait until you've grown. We had to tend to more serious matters when you were born." The Wolf creature said. "Your foster parents know about us, therefore they have taken you in. We you see, are guardians of nature. Its a serious business. Your foster parents have been notified. You're staying with us and you are going to have to learn how to use your wings, horns and such soon!" Devonte jumped with excitement, he finally knew who his real parents were, and best of all, he was going to learn how to fly!
