What's this, Moonbears? What's so special about them?

Moonbears are tiny, fluffy bears with a squirrel-like tail and small, round ears; they're about the size of a football. They have sticky paw pads, and like to stick to ceilings, trees and someging noses everywhere. They live in families of up to 6 Moonbears.

Ursa Major is one of the 48 constellations noted by Ptolemy. The constellation's name is Latin, and translates literally to "Larger Bear" or "Great Bear." In the graphic representations of the constellation, it can be seen that the depicted bear actually has a long tail, too, instead of a short one. To me, Ursa Major was a very clear choice for this handsome Moonbear, to name him after a group of stars. I would be thrilled to take this boy home with me.
