At first glance, you're probably think Pokerchip is an arrogant, laid-back slacker who does nothing but play poker, sing and dance all day. You're absolutely right. Pokerchip doesn't have any friends because he always lies to them in the end. He doesn't have a bad attitude, but his sarcasm gets the best of him. He picks fights, argues, yells his head off and always cheats in any kind of game. He always hides the pieces under his tail when no one looks to cheat. Too bad the objects stick out and everyone knows he cheats. He never cares hat people say and ignores them most of the time. He is unemployed (by government standards) and wants to keep it that way. After all, who wants to be boggled down down in a boring, stuffy job. Surprisingly, he is smart and resourceful, often pretending to be stupid to fool others into getting what he wants. He loves to sing, but hates to write music. He'd rather sing oldies then the new stuff now a days, but he also has a strong liking to Two-Step Garage and Dubstep. He can also play cello, but doesn't do it often. After all, it is hard to play with paws.

Pokerchip may seem like a bad influence, but let me assure you he isn't. For one thing, he is very modest. He doesn't flaunt his victories but he praises others, hence why people still play with him. He is also straightforward. Yes, he may lie, but he doesn't beat around the bush. He will flat out tell you anything, may it be lie or the truth. He is known for doing this, also why he is nicknamed "A Straight". He also doesn't only play card games; that's only on Sundays. Most of the time, he enjoys being alone. He is never simple minded and loves to solve puzzles. He is also a librarian, helping most dragons find books they'll love and treasure!

Pokerchip: I like a lot if things. Poker, chips, pokerchips? I'm not one to hate anything I be honest. Like the average dragon, I like sunsets and taking walks in the park. I like sweets, and I like sour candy. I like care games, and I like video games. I guess you want me to get to the point, don't cha? I bet your bored if reading this! Well, too bad. I also sew and I am quiet good at it! I mean, look at this tie and fedora! Aren't they beautiful? I have have a copper and beige set at home. Oh, I forgot to mention I also sing too! I also love nightclubs and parties! Celebrating is one thing I do best, after all; with a name like Pokerchip, you know who's running the party! Also, in case you didn't know, I am presently the owner of a library. What? You don't believe me? Why not? I loved reading ever since I was a child, so being a librarian is like the perfect job. What? You say I'm a hypocrite? You're joking! I don't like jobs that I have to do stuff. A librarian checks out books and helps others find the joys of reading! I also play a bit of classical music. I love playing my cello! Ooh, she's just so shiny! Rebecca is her name, and don't wear it out. No really. You'll embarrass her.
Now that I think about it, I hate a lot of things too! I hate poetry! It's like a song, but with not music! How useless is that? Since we're on the topic of music, I only like classical, classic rock, rock in general, the new genre Dubstep and video game music. Rock just feels makes me feel awesome just listening to it. B-bit and different types if video games music always brings a smile to my face. Classical? Because it was one if the first types of music! Plus, it's great to listen to if you want to be in a mood. Speaking of classical music, I dislike the personalities of the people who write it. Don't get what I mean? I dislike vain, snooty people. Why do they think think that they're better then everyone else? Makes no sense to me. I also dislike completely green dragons. No, it's not that I don't hate them it's just...I don't like the color. My element is fire after all.

My mother and father were both gamblers, but not to obsession. Neither of them had jobs, so that is why I don't want one. I don't need one. Anyway, so they raised me and sent me to private school. They wanted me to get a job, yet I said no to their request. They seemed heartbroken, but that got over it and stopped bothering me. When I around five, they took me to a library. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! I asked them what were those things on the shelves. They told me they were books, magical things that could take you anywhere you wanted and make you anyone you want to be. I was excited! I remember quickly reading five books that evening, three of them about libraries themselves. The others were card game books. After that day, I keep on coming to the library, reading as much as I could. I started with the card games section, then to the history section and so on. My love of reading was born. Several years later, when I was old enough to move out, I decided to try and get a job. That didn't work out too well. I tried office jobs, but they were way too stuffy for me. I, tired because of today's events, decided to go to back home to mother and father. Then, I walked by the library. The lights were still on. I walked in, and met a librarian. I asked them if they needed help with anything. They pushed their glasses up their nose and told me that a lot of books are out of order. Quick as a wink, and before she could say anything else, I put up all of the books in the right spot. They started at me, and smiled. We then spent the night learning about each other and reading. And that's the story of my life. Touching, isn't it?
When he get's sad or depressed he puffs out a little red flame.
He scratches his ears when is is lying.
He bites his tail when he is filled with too much emotion.
He flicks his tail when he is annoyed. He licks his lips when he is posed with a challenge.
Plays his moods on Rebecca. (His Cello)

Poem 1That Black Ace
That bumbling shadow
In this poker place
He's never able to keep a straight face
But he still plays, to this day
Cheating, stealing others wins
When he succeeds he smiles and grins
That black and white
Those zebra stripes
You probably wondering, "What's the hype?"
That smirk full of lies
That black colored fedora
He's even take the box from Pandora
That gleaming ruby gem
And those red eyes
No wonder he is hated and despised
However, he will never
Ask for help
But that's because he's not full of himself
He jumps from town to town
Playing, losing, winning
Watching the wheel spinning
He's clean
He doesn't do dirty work
Labor is something he doesn't support
However, he reads all day
He's stayed at the library reading books
He knows all the cracks and nooks
So his job, is a librarian
But he doesn't count it as one
Because the job is too much fun!Poem 2The One and Only Pokerchip
This is a tense race
Sweat in your face
As you try to place
Your next move
But some dragon, as you can see
Is cheating, is it he?
Suddenly, he is in a melee
With another dragon for cheating
You roll your eyes
You have to analysis
That dragon who tells lies
Pokerchip
The fights rocks the room
He's fighting with a broom
This fight will resume
One they fix the tables
Now, the tables are fixed
Everyone is gathered in their cliques
Their eyes are transfixed
On the dragon with the fedora
Except, he had taken off
He left a note on a cloth
He said we were all too soft
The one and only Pokerchip
Poem 3
A Black and white shape
He slowly puts away books
He is a book worm
Poem 4
In a Library
Is where the great monotone
Lives out his long days
