How it came to be:

Personality
Calm and cool. Wave is usually laid back, and slow to anger. He is usually a peace maker, and hates it when his friends fight. Speaking of friends, he is very social. Everyone he meets becomes an instant friend, and he always manages to stay in touch with them all. He's very competitive when it comes to surfing. He enters the surf contests every Summer. When there's someone to compete with, he'll stop at nothing to defend his crown. But, when he's teaching a girl how to surf and he knows she has no clue, maybe he'll wipe out on purpose to give her self esteem. Maybe flirt with her a little. *Gigglesnort*

Surfing.
He loves the water, and the thrill of surfing. He's been taught to by his family, and it brings back great memories.
His father taught him how to surf, naturally. His mother was against it from the beginning, assuming that he would do something that would make him regret it. Well, that happened. His father died.

Swirling Wave had found a huge wave. And the jewel maned dragon was enjoying it. He whooped all the while, smiling wickedly.
Nearby, his father surfed too. He pulled up next to him, and they began showing off to each other.
Wave did a pawstand, changing to a headstand before getting back onto his feet with a stylish jump. His father replied by back flipping on the board, then front flipping. The two exchanged tricks and laughed, sharing good times with each other.
Something shook underneath Wave's board. He ignored it, continuing to do his tricks. But it shook again. And again. Until he was thrown off the board, forced to wipe out.
"Woah! That wave was crazy, dude." he muttered to himself. His head shot up when he heard his father shouting. He was being attacked by a shark! Maybe that was what was shaking his board! "Hold on Dad, I'm coming!" he shouted, jumping onto his board and swimming towards him furiously.
But it was too late. His father was dead, and if he got any closer, the shark would kill him, too. "Dad!" he cried, tears already slipping down his cheeks. He began paddling back, a sullen expression frozen to his face. "...Dad." he said weakly, voice hoarse now. How did a shark get in there anyways?! Had it escaped from the zoo or something?! Why did it have to attack Dad?! many angry thoughts swirled through his head. He had just watched his father die in front of him.

Drew is a quite calm JMD most of the times. He is like the ocean, calm waves coming in, washing away all your fears. But when winds pick up, the waves thrash wildly and out of control, like they are trying to be set free from the ocean's cold hard grip. The waters move and churn rapidly, and thunder booms while lightening flashes through the sky. Drew is like this, calm and collected most of the time, but when others hurt the ones he cares about, he lashes at them, while anxiety, fear, and rage pulses through his veins.
Due to his troublesome past, Drew is very cautious of who he befriends or talks to. He has been stabbed in the back, lied to, used, beaten, taken advantage of, but most   all, he was, and still is, bullied. Bullie by hs own family. You can see why he would be cautious.He hasn't done anything bad, he isn't ugly or stuck up, he's not a bad JMD, he hasn't even made bad choices. This had made him cautious of everything. He's cautious of other JMDs, he's cautious of going somewhere, he's even cautious of what he eats and drinks. He's cautious of everything.
Drew may seem one to not be the smartest JMD out there because he is mainly worried and cautious of others, but he is smart, one of the smartest JMDs you will ever meet. He has a high GPA and can figure out anything, and everything on his own. He can hack into any system, and can code any website perfectly. His best subject is math, however much he hates it. He can figure out the most hardest, confusing, most complicated equation out there in a matter of five minutes.
You know that saying What doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Through a stranger's eyes, Drew seems one to not know what this means, through a teacher's eyes, Drew doesn't know what this means, but through Drew's eyes and mind, he knows perfectly what this means. The bully, harrassment, abuse, everything, is what makes him who he is now. He is strong, inside and out. He goes through punches, kicks, he was even thrown out of a window in his bedroom on the second floor and pushed down stairs, banged through several walls, withought camplains. He goes through names, teasing, he's been lied and used before, but he ignores tham and doesn't take it to heart. He is stronger and nothing can make him fall and crumble. He is like titanium.
Drew is the end of the chain reaction. You know how most people say that one who is bullied, becomes the bully? Drew isn't like that. He is loyal to his friends. He is never one to back stab or lie. He is honest, he is trust worthy, and he is loyal. Those who bully him don't look past the fur and skin. They don't look past the bones, the eyes, the muscles, tissue, blood, organs. They don't look into his eyes, and they don't look and realize what they're doing to him. They don't know that when they break his bones, they break off a part of his soul. His childhood is gone, he is the one with a cold hard soul. They don't look in his eyes and see the hate, rage or the cold, hard, and empty look. They don't realize when they damage his bones, they damage his feelings. They trigger more and more hate and rage, they don't know it's aimed at them. This is why he is loyal. He values what he has, he doesn't use it for fame or money. He treasures it because it is all he has left to hold him together.
Drew is a very, very protective JMD. He can stand being hurt and bullied. What he can't stand is when his friends get hurt and bullied. He would die for them. He'd do anything to keep them safe. He'd take the blows, he's take the gunshots if he had to. He'd do anything. They stick with and up for him, and he sticks with and up for them, it's his only unspoken rule.

his favorite water sport;;
Drew's favorite water sport is definitlely diving. Although he enjoys surfing and swimming as well, there's nothing like diving, in his own words.

-why/reason;;
There is nothing like diving.
It's his way of letting go of all his worries and fears.
The moment his body hits the water, he relaxes.
It calms him, feeling the water run up and soak his fur.
Feeling his body submerge in the water.
The cold water relaxes his tensed muscles.
Slicing through the air as he dives makes him feel like he's flying far, far away from his life.
He feels like it takes him somewhere, somewhere he's not hurt, bruised, sore, and cold.

-how it came to be;;
Drew was always a good swimmer, learning how to swim before he could speak. He practically grew up in water. But when the abuse started, he drifted towards swimming for comfort. He would get up early in the mornings and sneak out to the waterfalls, and dive off them. He would end up getting home late, near midnight, and sneak back in. Of course, his family knew he was missing, but weren't really concerned.
Drew still goes to the waterfalls and practices his diving. He taught himself to flipv and do amazing head-first spirals. He can do a triple flip and backflip off the highest waterfall. He also perfected the head plunge, going straight down to the water head first, off of the bigges waterfall he has ever laid eyes on.

Hmmm, that really is bad. I would love to extend it, but I already announced the end date and I don't know if some people want to wait so long. On the other side, I don't want to have this open to long. But I would really love to see your form done. x3
