Copper was born to a small herd in the far corner of the desert. She never really knew too many horses; she didn't even have the chance to learn the names of her parents, for soon after her birth, a sudden illness wiped out all but a couple of lucky mares and herself. Copper was adopted by one of the mares, who had also lost her own foal, and grew quickly, learning the ways of the desert. After the death of the mares a couple months ago, she has wandered the desert in search of other horses to live with. She has found none so far, and continues to survive out in the wilderness, lonely but hopeful.
