Personality:~Fun and excitable, Calx can be a handful at times. He is always excited, and can always make a bad situation a little better. He loves to joke around a lot during conversations [can be a little bit inappropriate at times but it's always in good fun. Never anything to crazy.] But can be dead serious and honest when the time arises. He loves to keep notes of everything around him, and is a great listener. At his worse though, he can be stubborn and maybe a little out of hand. He gets scared easily, and can get really jumpy/destrustive when he is nervous.~
Why do you want him/her?:~I love this species. Their design is amazing, and the idea of how they watch over humans is amazing. I've never really heard something like that and this species is very interesting. Not to mention I love bright green, and dots. This guy seems to have lots of them.~
Short Story:~Floating around nervously, Calx was admiring the sights and sounds of the forest. Every so often, he would check on his orb to see how his little human was doing. He had one of the younger ones, a little girl. He loved to just watch her play because of how courageous this girl was. He often wished that he could feel this way. Calx knew that his species, Vindex, where guardians. Didn't that mean they had to be strong and brave?
Art:
He kept wondering to himself about what he should be, he never once stopped to think about how wonderful he is just being himself. So distracted by his thoughts, he took the wrong path to the river, he took the one leading to the small village where his human lived. Near by, a hunter was out hunting foxes with his dogs. Calx was lucky enough to hear the little dogs barking, and wandering in his direction when he did, or the hunter might have found him.
Calx managed to get home safe and sound for the night, he kept wondering, "If I was not so nervous, would I really have turned around and fled? Or would I have stayed and got hurt?" Before he could come to a conclusion, he fell asleep. Meanwhile, the hunter found a small batch of green fur in the forest while hunting. He thought it was strange, so he brought it home for his daughter to see. The young girl, took hold of the fur, and for some reason, thought it felt familiar, and decided to keep it. ~
