Your poem struck me the first time I read it, I adore your style and it's so very different and metaphorical which I love.
Just beautiful! The concept of the artist was so so nice and a pleasure to read.

A pure, snowy white whelkon was born
quite a contrast to the sister curled next to him
his fur rippled like a creature all of it's own

Though his parent's loved him;
how could they not,
the child was weak
tortured, they knew
by the little voice inside him
whispering about
his pure white coat, which made him feel without doubt
something was wrong and something must change
in order for him to be normal again.

That night, with the world at rest
dear Calix set out to put his heart to the test
and by chance, perhaps, he stumbled upon,
and artist who's name I am beyond.

The artist laughed joyfully when he saw his fur coat
And with a stroke of a brush, and a jar of paint,
restored Calix's coat to a beautiful color
and after a final dab of the brush
two amber eyes shown from beneath his fur coat

Therefore, the dear Calix, having completed his quest,
returned home with a lesson, one to be learned;
Coat colors don't always appear right when one is born;
sometimes it takes some coaxing to let your true colors show.

RAIN
The birds stop their singing
The wind starts to grow
The rain is coming is all I know
Drip drop, drip drop
I take cover, puddles start to grow
I see a rabbit find its burrow
I sit and watch from under a tree
Rain is landing wherever I see
It’s landing on flowers’ petals
It’s landing on trees’ leaves
The rain is gentle, the rain is quiet
The sound is soft, the sound is beautiful
The wind gets noisy, thunder spoils it all
Lightening zips through the air and lightens up the sky
But rain still flows from above -unharmed
