Lion dragons are a fluffy, well-tempered subspecies of dragons. Lion Dragons are around the size of a Boxer at their largest. They are found all over the world in large numbers, and they have been found in almost every color in existence. Today, Lion Dragons are often used as household pets due to their good temper and small size. They are very energetic, and love to play games. Lion Dragons are very sociable, and love to meet new friends. They are omnivores, eating meat, plants, and almost any other food they can get their paws on.

Why and what it means?: Means "battle of victory" from Greek νικη (nike) "victory" and μαχη (mache) "battle".
Personality: Shy and timid, Niko seems to be the opposite of his name. But beneath that quiet demeanor beats the heart and fercioucity of a raging inferno. He feels deeply, whether it be love or hate, and once yoy've wronged him, you'll never have another chance to him. He is loyal, to what he believes, and he will not be swayed. He enjoys reading quietly be himself.

Name: Choula (cho)
Why and what it means?: Means "Fox" I chose this name because shes very pretty and reminds me of a fox. This is because her colors remind me so much of one, they're like a fox.. pale red, pale cream, and some redder spots around her. Her colors are so well picked, and I really like her.
Personality:

Sweet
Cho is very sweet, in ways. She'll be nice to you if she doesnt know you, usually she teases her friends and jokes around with them. She enjoys being in the forest though, walking through it during the fall. Hearing the crunch of leaves beneath her paws and watching them flittering down as well as that fall-ish smell.

Rebellious
Cho is rebellious, in ways of course. She only does what she wants to do, when she wants to do it.

Headstrong
Cho is headstrong, she can be arrogant sometimes but makes quick desicions and snaps back into arguments. Being rebellious and Headstrong, Cho does make mistakes sometimes, and it kills her. Shes not one to forgive or apologize easily.

Name: Cinnabar
Why and what it means?: Cinnabar is a type of mineral. Because of its mercury content, it can be toxic and harmful. I chose this as her name because it seemed almost ironic considering her personality. Also, the word 'cinnabar' reminds me of 'cinnamon,' which is the color of her beautiful coat. While it may not be the most complex, strange, or unusual name, I think it's unique enough and perfectly relevant to her design, and I can't think of anything that fits her more.
Personality: Cinnabar is a good-natured individual with a big heart. She is very gentle and loves everyone, wouldn't hurt a fly. While she is still young, she is very motherly and longs for a mate and a baby of her own. She loves to help others, and will go out of her way to put a smile on someone's face. Cinna is peaceful and a total sweetheart, loves to snuggle and surrounds herself with loyal friends. Due to her kindhearted disposition, she can't bear to eat meat, and is a strict vegetarian. Cinna loves to eat fruit, and strawberries are her absolute favorite. The ocean is her absolute favorite place; the sound of the waves and the soft sand are relaxing and peaceful to her. However, all this love can backfire on her at times; since she is so selfless and spends so much time caring for others, Cinna does often neglect herself, and has forgotten to eat or clean herself in extreme situations. Cinna's friends would describe her as loyal and always honest, with the patience of a saint and not a mean bone in her whole body. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who didn’t have something nice to say about her!

You And I by Ingrid Michaelson ~ Basically, Cinna's innermost desires in life clustered down into one song. She longs for someone to share her life with, someone who will always be there, someone she can always be there for in return. However, where the song says 'let's get rich,' Cinna would like nothing more than to be rich with love, not money.

Name: Anima. A short, warm name for a sweet little Lion Dragon.
Why and what it means?: Anima is Latin for all of these things: “soul, air, breeze, wind, breath, breath of life” All of these seem to remind me of her personality. Not very unique, but I really like it. I would have called her something quite catchy, but with the personality I'm thinking of… it wouldn't fit.
Personality:

Calm

Anima is really relaxed. She hardly ever fusses about anything and loves to just lay on the grass, looking at the clouds, messing around with leaves… to her, nothing could be better.

Shy

As well as being relaxed, Anima can be quite shy. She may hide in piles of leaves and only come out to those that she really trusts. She blends in perfectly (in Autumn, that is), so she’s hard to spot.

Nervous

Anima has the most annoying habit: She gets a huge thing ready, gets ready to tell people and then gets all nervous and doesn't tell anyone. She usually keeps all of her ideas to herself, and doesn't talk much because of this.

Lonely

Because she isn't usually around others, she gets quite lonely. She enjoys playing (or chasing) with birds, so that can keep her mind off it sometimes. She does have a few friends, though.

Sweet and playful

When she can finally trust you, this is what she is like. She can play games with you, and enjoys having fun.

Anima is a great LD to tell secrets to. She’s very trustworthy and won’t give anybody a clue about what your secret is. She’s great at keeping promises, too.

E-6is a smallish white and orange plane.
I find it quite unique and think it fits her perfectly.

Personality;;
E is a hardcore dragon who's not afraid to get dirty.
She may look all flowers and fluff, but she can defiantly be a handful. E enjoys building machines;
taking after her father who she loved dearly but left when she was very little.
One you really get to know her, I'm sure she'll be quite gentle and nice;
but until then you'll just have to put up with her witty jokes and roughness.

Because it is welsh for Strong/Strength and im partly Welsh. So its part of him and me in his name. Also its short and sweet, like him XD

Gryf is a kind soul but also the life of the party :3. He is excitable and fun, always wanting to play and have fun, though he sleeps like a log. He can be a nuisance and wake you up at about 3am, pouncing on you, wanting to play and have fun. He cheers people up and love to cuddle

Yeah, I like my name. It's pretty, subtle, and cute. I love it. It's unique, interesting, but at the same time just simple enough. I love, love, lo-

Ok, Ronnie we get it.

I chose Ronnie as this Lion Dragon's name because it is the name of a girl in my math class, smart, funny, and rather popular. She's always with her friends, and always looks like she's having fun. When I saw this LD, Ronnie popped into my head. This LD looks like she's calm, cool, collected, and is having fun too. I don't have a long explanation, but I love this LD just the same.


Ok, Ronnie, I'm going to ask you a couple questions in this Q-and-A: First, how do you see yourself as a Lion Dragon ready to be adopted?

I think I'm funny, cheerful, and sweet. I can be serious and can be stubborn, but I always stay true to my opinion.

Can you elaborate on the 'funny, cheerful, and sweet' part?

Funny- I love to laugh, and love to make people laugh. Did you know that every time you laugh, you live 7 seconds longer? I can't get enough of smiles lighting up others faces. It opens them up like a present. It just makes me feel happy and kind. Cheerful- That relates to the 'funny' part. I am bouncy, cheerful, and fun to be around. I am cheerful, and I always have a smile on my face. Sweet- I am kind, and I love to help people out. It makes me feel good about myself. I also have a heavy dose of empathy. It helps me out, so I know when to keep quiet and when to speak out and say my opinion.

Serious? Stubborn?

I- again- know when to keep quiet when there is a situation where I'm going to make a fool of myself or when I know I'll hurt someone. I will stick to my opinion forevermore, even when I know it isn't right. It's a curse, and a gift. A gift, as I won't 'go with the flow' and I'll do what's right.

How do you get along with other people?

You mean other lion dragons, or people?

Name ; Akai "Aisuru" Hanten
Why and what it means? ; Akai Hanten means "Speckle Red" and Aisuru means "Loving", both in Japanese
Personality: Akai is a very loving Lion Dragon, hence the nickname Aisuru. Aisuru gets along with almost everyone, but can't deal with ignorant or rude people. His favorite food is cranberries, which others find peculiar for they're bitter yet he is sweet. He's timid and shy; he doesn't want to intrude onto people in case they think him rude or impolite. He loves autumn, the crisp cool air that's not too cool and the colours.
