His parents abandoned him and he had to live alone. In his younger years, animals as well as other JMDs attacked him, and his fear turned into anger and a thirst for vengence on everything, making him, his jewels, and his very soul corrupt.

And thats how he became evil!

SkyJewel-That was his name back then-crouched down low, whimpering. The thing growled, baring it's razor sharp white teeth. It's red eyes glowed-Deep within them, he could see pure evil and hatred. It went closer, but when SkyJewel tried to back away, he could feel a dead end with the tip of his tail. The full moon glowed brightly, shinign down on him-Then the thing pounced. It's pure red eyes stared deep into his heart, and then SkyJewel saw a flash of it's white teeth-And everything went black.
He woke up the following morning, feeling dizzy and light-headed. The world was spinning, and SkyJewel stared at his reflection in the water-It was different. And he felt different. A few hours later, he found himself growling, and feeling pure hatred for everything around him. He looked at his reflection again-
And it was very different. He was marroon and dark grey. And he found himself snarling out loud,
"BloodJewel..."

And that's how he became evil-And got his name. Sorry it's rubbish.

Well, when Shadow was younger, his name wasn't Shadow. It was Nanook. He lived in Germany, where he was born. He lives in the forests now, but when younger lived out in the open. When he was old enough to care for himself, he went away from his parents, kinda happy to be free, on his own. He hunted and cared for himself, and he loved it! After a year of thriving on everything in his territory, he then felt pain of a gun like thing. He was knocked out cold, and then woke up to see a darkened cave. He looked around, frightened by everything. He walked around for some time, till he seen light by candles and torches a little ways before him. He then began to run, run for the light. He still looked the same. Gray was his fur color, and had some markings of light blue on him.
As the cave got brighter, and brighter, he soon saw a wolf sitting awake in front of him, with a green pool in front of him.... The wolf was black, and had mist coming off of him almost like a demon... and red eyes the glowed. Nanook stopped in his tracks, and looked up at the huge beast. He started to run back, but then seen the exit was gone... He turned back to the wolf, his green eyes full of terror. "Hello, Nanook" the best growled with a smile on his face. "W-who are you?" Nanook asked, stepping back where the exit use to be. The wolf went around the green puddle, and looked Nanook straight in the eyes, still having that wicked smile on his face. "Howl is the name", he began, "Now, Nanook, I have something to tell you." "W-what?" he studered, as Howl laughed, which gave chills to Nanook. "Become evil like me, or die", he said with a mrrow of laughter, as Nanook's eyes grew huge. "Just let me go!" Nanook said, as he tried to get away from the wolf. Howl then growled, and picked him off of the ground by the throat. "Your going to be my minion, and your going to like it!" he shouted in his face, as he then knocked Nanook out. Nanook awoken in the cave, where the wolf was gone. He gasped as he looked around to everything gone, and the green puddle now a clear puddle. He sighed, though he felt different. He came up to the water, and lapped some up. He was quite thirsty. Then, he noticed something strange...
His colors were changed! He stepped back as the puddle turned green again, the exit was gone, candles were there again, and the wolf was too. All Nanook seen was his still blue eyes, and his black and red fur. He began to feel very weird. "Now then, Shadow, how would you like to go and scare some others with me? And maybe even... You know, eat them, maybe?" He let out another laugh, as Nanook, who was now Shadow looked confused. In his head, it said yes, then no, and kept going. From drinking the water, he started to become evil.... "No!" Shadow growled, as he shook his head, "I won't do it!" he shouted, as then a black mist surrounded him, and all his good thoughts were replaced with bad ones. His eyes were now red instead of the blue, and he opened his eyes back to reveal his red eyes. "Yes, master...." he said, as the wolf smiled another wicked smile, and they went into the darkness together....
