Wow.. I never thought this simple little girl would get so much attention, let alone past two pages. Thank you all for your amazing entries and the kind comments on her, I'm actually quite glad you liked her enough in the first place to even post. Catalina loves pink flowers. She wears them as accessories, and weaves intricate bracelets and necklaces out of pink flowers. She adores pink and the beauty of it, the warmth you feel when you look at it, the comfort in the simple, delicate colour. She thinks it means beauty of nature, and it really means a lot to her.

Pink means a lot more to me than that, but this rounds it off pretty well c:

Catalina loves to weave beautiful, embroidered clothes, cloth and accessories. She even has her own little weaving shop. Her mother taught her how to weave, and she loves weaving on a sunny afternoon, singing a song and enjoying the sunshine. She loves the satisfaction of finishing off a beautiful piece of weaving.

Weaving is fun ^^. You really should try it! Yarn is so easy and fun to manipulate into beautiful patterns <33

Such beautiful a colour

I quite like this poem, I think it describes pink nicely. :3

Her daily life - a short story
It was a beautiful summer morning, the sky punctured by little dots of white, rays of orange sun shine warming the earth. Callie stretched, yawning, and collected together her things for an early morning of weaving and sunbathing. Heaving her large, carefully woven pink beach bag over her shoulder, she set off towards the beach. Birds were singing in harmony, wild rabbits were playing chase across the field. Catalina dumped her bag on the sandy ground, and unpacked her weaving set and some sunglasses, tucking her flower chain behind her ear. What would she weave today? Perhaps the mysterious morning sky, or the delicate humming bird taking nectar out of a rose? The humming bird, she decided, and set to work, her tongue peeking out of her mouth in concentration, her shades covering her dark eyes.

After 2 hours, Callie inspected the finished product. A beautiful hummingbird in shades of green and white was fluttering in front of a stunning pink rose. She was satisfied, and leaning back, closed her eyes, enjoying the warmth of the day.

Callie is very shy, but she likes meeting new people. Compliments always make her blush, and she feels uncomfortable in the spotlight. She believes that weaving on the beach is all she needs, but she does want friends..and a mate.

Catalina just loves to sketch, draw, paint, weave and make things out of a wide variety of materials. She even has her own sketchbook, where she designs all her woven items. Callie loves creating things, and never runs out of ideas, inspired by her surroundings.

.:Adventurous:.
Always on the lookout for ideas, Callie likes sticking her muzzle everywhere. She loves to explore, and often goes on little adventures around the world. She likes to swoop among the clouds, to see the effect of being covered in glittering drops of water, or sunbathe on the beach, studying the texture of sand and gravel. Inspiration is her best friend.

She may seem lonely, but Callie has a soft spot for her friends and family, or anyone else who needs help. She often scouts along the edge of the water, and helps turtles or fish that lost their way back into the sea, or wanders around the near forest looking for any little animals in need.

Why I want Callie
I absolutely adore her. Every part of her. Her markings are beautiful, so elegant, but still simple and easy to draw. I can't stop thinking about her, and I love how she likes yarn and pink, a great combination. I would love to own her along with my little Mint; I've never won a JMD before, so it would be ..so wonderful to win her<3 I love drawing her, too..she's the right one for me, I just know it<3

Now, before you complain that the "Only reason she won was because of her art." One, it wasn't. Two, you'll get a warning. And three, it's my decision. Tiger here won Catalina because of the clear hard work and effort she probably put into this form. I only needed one piece of art to judge and she had a pre-set goal of ten pieces, ten times what I was looking for. That tends to catch your eye and show that this person went out side the box, outside the norm to show how much they want, deserve, and care for something. She also had multiple extras and add ons, which boosted her chances a lot. Over all, your entry was amazing and you deserve her 100%. The art above is a gift, congratulations. <3
