Otaku

Male
Short story about she found her favorite activity:
A warm wind rushed past the dragons, whistling in their ears. Soft grunts and silent murmurs filled the salty air. Snap! The sail snapped into a blast of air and Otaku took this as his one and only chance. With a deep and dark pit in his coiling stomach, he lurched forward; the air pushing him back. Was it a sign to stop? Otaku couldn't decide in time. The bright orange tarp flew up and he was lifted in the air; slicing backwards almost instantaneously. He gasped, a squeak emerging from his mouth. His mentor shouted in glee, her giddiness infecting him. So, with a sharp push he forced the handle bar down and surged forward toward the golden sunset. A gushing of water lolled underneath him. He dare look down, churning ocean and jagged boulders..it was dangerously beautiful. The wind ruffled his fur ever so slightly as to make him uncomfortable, and he growled; scratching his neck, forcing the paraglider down. In one bound, this toes skimmed water and he was screaming in effort to rise again. He willed it to tip upward; save him from drowning. Otaku never learned how to swim; his only chance at survival on the water was using his glider as a raft; if it broke his fall. A sharp push of air forced him down, fear lining his stomach and water soaking his back paws. Then the air released him, water scooping around him as he jerked to the right; turning around. Blazing red, gold and yellow made for a stunning silhouette of his mentor, and he kept his eyes glued to her. After about twenty minutes of struggling with the thing, he scrabbled up onto the cliff; rock crumbling under him as he clawed her land. That was fun! his mentor said in an effort to calm him, To watch. she laughed almost chaotically, her eyes rolling back and her face pinching up. Otaku felt a wave of heat run into his face, burning in his tear ducts and cheeks. It was really difficult. he whined softly, looking out and sighing, casting a glance at her, suddenly realizing she was grabbing a two body paraglider! Round two? she grunted, tugging out the bars with a grin. Otaku gladly strode over to start a new adventure..(390 words)
