Amphitrite is described to be a gentle, caring whelkon from most. Others who got on her bad side say she is rude, mean and evilish. She is in fact quite kind and calm but she is also a bit mean if you upset her. Amphitrite is intelligent, most of her knowledge is about the wide oceans and the vast seas. The seashell that washes up shore, she collects them and put it in a secret cave. Amphitrite can be a little odd to everyone sometimes but thats up to you to decide if it was weird or not. She is like the sea it has many wonders and hold many unknown secrets and mysteries.
▪ Describe how this Whelkon reminds you of the Sea*:
In the personality I made her personality sometimes calm and gentle other times dangerous and mean. The tail design reminds me of the seaweed that live along the bottom of the deep sea. The legs look like the green coral that grow in little cliffs, in little caves, and along the bottom with the seaweed that sweeps the sea floor.
The red spikes remind me of the different kind of coral that grows in the sea also. The base colour reminds me of the entire sea, its just one whole with a lot going on in it. The light and darks of the base are the water and the sunlight hitting the surface and shining through the water.

Chimaera
This is my favourite fish's name, and since she's sea-inspired, why not?

▪ Gender:

I think I'll make this lovely Whelkon female. The design is just absolutely feminine.

▪ Personality:

Chimaera is very explorative, inquisitive, and loves going to new places. She is (naturally) a very good swimmer, and finds undersea-scape fascinating. She loves talking and singing, and loves performing for others. She is a natural stand-up comedian, and she's very good at saying everything seriously, not even cracking a smile when telling the funniest joke. She loves music, and it reminds her of the sea, where she feels she belongs. Although, she is normally very mellow, and often just hums her own tune (both literally and metaphorically).

▪ Describe how this Whelkon reminds you of the Sea:

Is there anything more beautiful than the sea? Her amazing deep-sea colours, her coral markings, and her subtle touches of red, they are the singing colours of the sea itself (I'm such a poet XD). It is a lovely, mellow combination of colours, and she seems elegant and graceful, like the sea.

I understand completely; unfortunately I won't be able to get back to judging the design for another ten or so hours. I'm also willing to hear opinions on the runner up; or if there is something anyone would like to see in a runner up for this guy/girlie. <3
