Although she has more of a Autumn-like appearence, Sophie's favorite season is spring.

{Why is it their favorite season?}
Spring is Sophie's favorite season for many reasons, especially the weather. She loves the rain, and especially what it brings. After a storm you can most likely find her splashing around in puddles, getting soaking wet without a care. She also loves listening to the rain falling, she finds it calm and relaxing, and easy to fall asleep to. She also likes spring's rain because, well, April showers bring May flowers! Sophie is obsessed with flowers, and think they're very pretty. That's why her face always lights up with delight as she sees tiny buds poking up from the ground at the winter's end. The scent that drifts off of them, and their bright colors, how could you not like them?
Besides the rain, there's plenty of other things she loves about spring. Baby animals are born a lot in this season, and like a lot of other little girls, Sophie believes that they're very cute. Then there's the warm weather, and how the sun shines constantly. Isn't the feeling of the warm sunlight flowing down on your back great?
The main reason why she loves spring, however, is that it kind of feels like the word is starting over. After the harsh, long winter, the days are becoming longer and warmer. Little flowers poke around here and there, and the trees sprout tiny leaves. The sun starts coming out again, and it's like the entire world is regenerating!
Spring is a season of beauty and nature, and Sophie won't ever forget that<3

Why is it their favorite season?: Sumner has a weakness for young animals of all sorts. As she strolls through the meadow behind her cave she sees lots of animals frolicking with their parents. She also loves spring for all of the beautiful colors it brings forth, the flowers bursting in bloom, the grass dancing in the light breeze, the cheery calls of the birds, the young plants bursting forth from the earth. As the sun beams down in the morning through the trees, it seems as it is warmly embracing the earth in a big hug. And, her favorite animal is most commonly found flitting around. Butterflies! She loves them. She has a large collection of them, when she sees one she likes, she captures it in her butterfly net and she takes a picture of it to add to the collection. (what did you think she was going to do with it? Pin it up to a board?!)
