Why is it their favorite season?: Colin absolutely loves when the leaves begin to change; it's as though the mountains have caughtfire. He is infatuated with the vibrant reds, vermillion-oranges, and the beautiful gold-honey yellows, and every hue in between! He has a blast trying to catch each leaf as it falls. Someone told him once that if you caught a falling leaf, you could make a wish on it, and he had the best time coming up with a new wish for each one. Colin's favorite fall activity, of course, is raking up all the driest, crunchiest leaves into a big pile, and diving right in! He enjoys the crisp autumn air, cold and refreshing as it filled his lungs, and then exiting in a puff of glorious smoke. What dragon didn't dream of breathing fire? And at the end of a long, fun-filled autumn day, Colin wants nothing more than to curl up with a steaming cup of hot apple cider and a few close friends to cuddle with.

Why is it their favorite season?: Firefly loves to run around outside in the summer heat. Longer days means more time for fun, Firefly will often will sit outside until dark to watch the fireflies dance. Firefly enjoys the feeling of the warmth on her sunny orange pelt. She also loves to dive into the cool water and swim around for hours on end. She likes to run through fields of green and feel the wind on her face. For Firefly, Summer fun doesn't end when the sky is grey, rainstorms are always a fun opportunity to dance around in the rain. Summer is a time for relaxation and fun. One of Firefly's favorite places to be is the beach by the large blue ocean. She loves running through the surf and feeling the sand in between her toes. When Summer is over, Firefly is always sad to see her favorite season go but she knows that it will come again next year and until then there are always the fun memories she made in summers before to remember.

Nothing, to Juniper, can compare to Autumn. It's something close to his heart; it's a time that brings people together! The crisp wind and leaves are what he likes best. The wind flowing through his fur... He never wants it to change, but of course, seasons alternate, and there isn't much he can do about that.

Chlora loves the color blue. She was origonaly named Blue Moon, but her parents renamed her.

I love Fall. It's so pretty...

It's like she can't stop running outside when the leaves start tunrning red.

I just love fall because its so pretty, the leaves turn a beautiful shade of red, orange and yellow. Once they turn brown, I frolick about in the grass. The leaves make such a nice, satisfieing noise, Crunch! I also love it because I hear everyone happy from the warm cider thats made. I love that, too.

Why is it their favorite season?:

Maybel's favorite season is fall. Maybe it is the colors, maybe the weather. Maybel was, in fact, born in the summertime, but she just loves fall. Maybe it was because of her love for candy, and of coarse she would get loads on Halloween. Whatever it was, she always loved it. The colors of the maple trees in her forest home, weather, candy, she loved it all.

The colors. I love the colors. And it's not just the oranges and yellows.

Summer is the rainbow of the seasons. No other season bursts with as many true vibrant colors as summer. Clear cyan skies outline a golden sun glowing fiercer than any other time of the year. Crisp sapphire oceans lap sandy pale yellow shores. At the park, I walk on grass the greenest shade of emerald I've ever seen. The night is even better. It's a collage of flashing yellow fireflies and twinkling stars against a jet black sky. On that special day in July, where I live at least, the same dark sky explodes with light and every color in the rainbow.

Oops, I let my poetic side ramble on. Sorry! But I do love the summer for its bursting colors.
