Why you chose the name/meaning of the name: I picked this name for a few reasons. I am listening to a book called The Horse Boy by Rupert Isaacson, who took his autistic son to Mongolia in an attempt to heal him. The story has impressed me due to the extent a father will go to help his son. It is an AMAZING story and has touched me deeply. I also chose the name because the pattern on the WME's coat reminds me of moonbeams.

Why you chose the name/meaning of the name: Zasmahu means 'suntan' in Ukrainian. The way her colors blended in such a rich, warm tan color reminded me of just that. Especially because her belly is a bit paler than her back, which is a place the sun can't reach! It suits her as well, as the white brindling on her reminds me of streaks of suntan lotion. I also like the name Zasmahu for her because of her bright jungle green eyes, and to be, Zasmahu sounded a bit wild, like it might come from a tribe deep within the jungle.

Why you chose the name/meaning of the name:
I choose this name because it is a truly beautiful name, I think it fits rather well for her. The light dusty color looks like the autumn sun, and the darker dusty color looks like storm clouds, hovering above the soft grass coverd ground. The white parts remind me of regulare could's, fleeing west, away from the storm could's. The small very light pink snip remind me of an ever lasting rose, still blooming while it is storming, her green eyes remind me of the grass and a very important part of the rose, the stem, and the roots that give it ever lasting life.

Thus the Lurid came to mind, as vivid means bright in color or intensely deep in this case it's the bright in color.
