Name Backstory: I picked Trostan because that is the name of a rescue horse I work with. Just looking at this gorgeous BK reminded me of him. Trostan is in an animal sanctuary and is up for re-homing, I would adore to take him in but I currently can't. Trostan was found in a very heavy snowfall, surviving on tit bits from local people. He was very weak, but now he has turned into a beautiful friendly pony.

Name Back Story:
It's a Japanese name meaning Autumn Light. The name, Akimitsu, may be written with the characters of "Autmun" {Aki}, and "Light" or "Ray" {Mitsu}. The other possiblilies are "Radiance" or "Shine" {Aki}. and "Light" {Again as Mitsu}. Or even "Spirit" or "Fairy" {Aki}, and light again as Mitsu.

When I first saw him I pictured a sunset over the water gazing onto the white sand. Or looking up at midday through autmun colored leaves in the forest, and the sun's just peeking through the cracks. I could have also see him representing these parts in our life.

If he was the sunset on the water just colored the white sand, he would gallop ever morning through the sand, awakening the creatures of the sea, and calling forth the soft waves as they lick the sand. As people came to celebrate on the beautiful sand, he would hide in the ocean, and call your name to step in. He would then make the waves lick you happily, like a puppy seeing you after a long day. He would chase away the storms, and have the sharks flee in terror, and fish would dance and praise his name. He would just be a spirit to watch over you, and when everyone would leave as sunset came, he would call you to stay, and he would present himself to you and only you, and have you enjoy the sunset long. He would let you ride him across the waves, and beckon the sun to stay up for hours. But, when night fall came he would have to rejoin the sun, and let his brother take our for the moon. I believed Akimitsu it this because of the meaning Spirit, and light, also with the fairy part. He would have magic as this part in our world. The words Radiance and Shine describe the sun, and what he would represent in our world.

If he was the sun sneaking through the autumn colored leaves, and represented it, I see him running through the woods every morning, kissing the animals good morning, and summoning a little breeze to flow behind him. He would then have to pull the sun up on the east side, and then have the leaves on the trees, slightly change color to the cooling breeze of Autumn. He would then call on the geese to head north. His song would be the humming birds, and his calm words would even attract hummingbirds to his side. He would have graceul steps, and his soul was made of the spirits of the trees. He would never show himself to passing humans hiding within the trees. He would guide the sun all day long, and sleep, once again when the sun went down.

Basically, my name means, 'Way to Dawn'. You're probably wondering, why such a long, annoying name? Well, there's a decent story behind it. You want to hear it know, don't you? I knew it! I always pull at other's interests, it's just kind of my thing.

It all started before I was born. This was all told to me by my Uncle, so I'm not completely sure if the facts are true, but no one knows otherwise, so this is what I go with. My parents where your typical couple, you know, all lovey-dovey with each other and what not. I want to gag at the thought, but anyways. They would take walks every night, even when my mother was overly swelled with me inside. It must have been quite a sight! I mean, look at me! I'm not all they tiny you know. But, they walked, it's the one thing they could always count on in the day.

They were walking one summer night, through the swamps like always, but that night was different. It wasn't raining hard, but enough to take note of. And I forgot to mention, my mother had started going into labor too. I know, bad timing right? They were trying to find a dry place to have me, and they had spotted this island in the mud. It was nice and dry, under the shade of a tree, and the grass there was so nice and lush! The mud surrounding didn't look so deep, but that's where they were wrong. Under the muddy film laid around three feet of water, enough to house alligators and other swamp creatures. My parents were stuck in the giant suction cup, lost in it's mud.

My mother had finally managed to struggle to the small dry island, and by then I was basically out. My father was still struggling though, his larger frame having more troubles getting through. Soon his head was the only thing visible above the surface, and enough time had passed to where the sun was starting to make it's way into the night sky. Now, my father was very intelligent, he knew some Latin, just the perfect amount of it. He looked into my eyes and screamed hoarsely with his struggling breaths, "You shall be my Via ad Aurora!"

Well, we never could get him out. He died right there, right in front of me. Later the main herd had freed us from that island, a great relief indeed. I was raised with the name of my Father's Last words....

I chose the name Viho Bali because He should be named for His strength and beauty...and also because he cares for others just like a Chief should.
