Okay, so his personality is going to be, grumpy, but once you get to know him he's a romantic and really sweet.
And the rainbow orb is to be protected with his life. If it breaks, he will slowly suffer and die, all luck gone.

This is his sad history:
Rainbowshadow's mom had a pink jewl, his father, a black. His mother died while giving birth to Rainbowshadow's sister, who died a month later, she had drowned. Rainbowshadow's father always said 'I asked your mother one day to see what happened if she used her powers on you, but said your already perfect.' Rainbowshadow's dad had always protected his sun, but one day he let Rainbowshadow out hunting on his own. Rainbowshadow ran into a bunch of slightly older JMDs. "What are you doing on our territory runt!" the leader asked. Rainbowshadow pulled his tail up to his muzzle, revealing his orb. He nuzzled the orb and looked at the others. "I'm just hunting!" The leader of the group examined the rainbow orb. "What's up with that piece of junk on your tail?" he asked, stepping forward. Rainbowshadow put his tail under his chin, protecting the orb. "It was my moms, she gave it to me." Rainbowshadow said proudly. One of the other dragons in the group, maybe second in command, walked over to Rainbowshadow's tail.She grabbed his tail and pulled it down. "Ouch, stop!" Rainbowshadow cried, a tear falling from his eye.
The leader of the group fame over. "What a baby!" he chuckle. He raised his tail jewel high and pointed it at the orb. "Nooo!" Rainbowshadow yelled, more tears sliding Down his face. The leader smirked and pulled his tail down onto the orb, sending a big crack through it. "Your next!" The second in command chuckled. Rainbowshadow cried out fir his dad, his face covered in tears.
