جليد (Said: Zhe-liet) ((go to http://www.google.com/translate and make sure it is going FROM English, TO Arabic, and type in "Ice". Then in the gray box, in the bottom right corner, click the speaker button and you will hear how it is said.))
Adult (I am unsure how old that would be in HF years...?)
Male
جليد (or, Zhi for short), loves to play with the other animals on Velvel's farm, where he spends all of his time. He especially likes to fish with her. Zhi's favorite food is catfish, which is very common in the three rivers that run through Vel's 130+ acres of woodland. He loves to curl up next to Velvel every night to sleep in her nice warm bed.
Zhi was once a small Hover Fox, just a pup, when his parents were killed by a foul creature that lived in the woods. He decided one day, since he never really got to know his parents, and they never told him how to fish, he would go with the human who lived in a house in the woods that he lived in. He was crouched behind the bushes, watching how she did it, but she used a strange stick with some hind of long, slick leaf that the fish would bite the end of, and she would pick it up out of the water and into a metal, hollow stump-looking thing that was shiny like the grass was in the morning, and water was splashing out of the stump. Then when she was done, she PICKED UP THE STUMP and took it to her den. The next day, when she came again, Zhi decided to try to take one of the fish from the hollow, moveable stump. He had hardly gotten a foot away from the stump, when the human saw him, and he ran right back into the bushes. His stomach growled from almost three days without food, so he stayed in the bush. When the human picked up the stump to leave, she took a floppy fish from it, and tossed it into the bush. Zhi ate it happily, and the next day, came to sit beside her, and that's how their unique bond began.
This is a wonderful design, and a character I will cherish forever. If I ever stopusing it, I will NOT let it sit and collect dust and cobwebs, because its just too wonderful! ((Besides, cobwebs and dust aren't a very good or interesting collection to have)) I will give it to someone who will take care of it just like it was a real animal, just as I will.
