Lilac
From the name of the shrub with purple or white flowers

Lilac's eyes slowly opened as light peered over the tree tops and down to Earth. She lifted her head, her neck having little pain from her sleeping position. She looked around, seeing the same foresty area as she fell asleep in. She gave a light smirk to herself. She stood up, shaking the grass out of her lavender fur. Her jaws parted slightly as she looked around, tasting the air for anything she could go sneak up on. No scents of life near by. She shrugged trotting away, out of the bright sunlight, and under the shade of the leaves. Lilac's eyes wandered all through the forest, taking in all the beauty she saw.
Loud crunching noises filled her ears as she strolled through the woods. She tried ignoring it, since it just sounded like a buck prancing through the woods. Though, it seemed louder than your average buck. She shrugged it off and sped up her pace. The crunching and pounding got louder and she headed deeper into the forest.
Lilac's paced slowed as she came to an area with the ground covered in leaves. It seemed unnatural, since it was summer, no where near Autumn yet. She walked along with nimble paws, avoiding stepping on the centers of the leaves, trying as best she could to keep her paws from the leathery leaves. Her ears twitched as she heard prancing hooves. She crouched low, trying to hide herself best she could. It was fairly hard, since her fur was such a gorgeous purple, she could easily be spotted.
A deer pranced right into the dark clearing, not even noticing the leaves on the ground. His hooves hit the ground with loud thuds. The deer took caution that Lilac was there, and moved to the side, avoiding her. The deer's hooves hit the ground right beside Lilac, ending with a loud crack instead of the familiar thud. The buck fell to the ground, his hoof caught in a rusty metal trap.
Lilac's eyes opened wide as the blood trickled down the buck's fur and skin. She knew something was wrong with this area! Lilac immediately pulled herself up and ran as fast as her long legs could go. His paws hit multiple traps, setting them off, but barely missing her paws. Her eyes were wide as can be as her she ran towards the exit of the area. She slid to a light stop as she saw a trap poking out from under the leaves. She turned tail and ran around the trap. Her paws felt weak from that slight stop. She kept going still.
Her hind paw dug into the ground as she went to leap over a log. As she brought her paw up, she brought a chain to a trap along with it.
