May I ask, if the other wolf wanted to be mates with the shadow, wouldn't that mean he'd be exiled? If so, surely he should be glad that he wasn't mates with her?

the alpha wanted her to have a mate but a wolf one t wouldn't matter, but jesse is a lion and a healer

yes and have children together i know its physically impossible but wait the comic gets even weirder

see jesse came to the pack as a small cub his mother was in the circus and wanted a better life for her son she dropped him off and told the wolves his name was jesse and to take care of him. Jesse grew up as a healer so he wouldn't be allowed to have cubs (against the code.) But he fell in love with the alphas daughter (Shadow) and they became mates (its was a secret) they never planned on having children because it would ruin the secret but shadow got pregnant. they managed to keep her pregnancy a secret while Fang (the orange wolf) asked to be her mate. Of course she turned him down, he never got over it. the battle is when everything went into the open and when the alpha found out Jesse was exiled but Shadow was determined to go with him.( thats all i drew up in the comics im not giving anything away )
