As I stare
I think

Think about my life
My death
How long did I have?

As the rose wilts
I hear the sound around me
The sound of the closing
impending doom
And as the last petal falls,
I wonder how I stand

As I walk out
All is quiet
I poisoned the rose
And the sky glows greeen
the leaves a black goop
The trees dead
Feathers litter the forest
What have I done
How will I pay for my sin?

The night i sat
staring at the stars
i wondered
could they be mine?
so i dreamt
that i flew through the sky
stole the stars
when i awoke the next day
commotion went through the world
the stars had been stolen
I looked that night
and saw the stars
so i realized
the stars were in my eyes
i was the star theif
