It was funny really, a lot of the time people loved me, gave me affection and cared, but they always ended up dumping me. Like a piece of paper, I was good untill written all over then people just screwed me up and got a new piece. I could tell it was coming with every new owner and had no hope left in me, but to love what was in front of me.
I suppose you could say I needed to hold onto them tighter, be a good boy. But it didn't quite work like that, I was the puppet and they were the puppeter. They CONTOLLED me. I sat their untill they shouted my name. I huddled up to them on the sofa, they would say go get the paper and I would do so. I needed more love, they didn't really love me. Well, the parents didn't. There was a girl. She was very little, around 6 years of age, and she loved me so much. She used to let me sleep on the end of her bed, watch bright flashing colours on the TV move to you and talk as if we were babies. We were both happy untill the seperation. The mum and dad soon split up, when Amiee, the little girl, was only seven. She couldn't quite understand. Anyway, the mum took Amiee and I was left with Paul, the Dad. I was not happy and never would be if I was not with Aimee.
Okay, I wasn't exactly a cute little puppy. I had horns and a huge powerful tail, most kids and many people are scared of me, it's not really fair. I am cute. If I was a puppy everyone would love me. But I'm not. I'm me. I can't just go into the streets and find someone who doesn't mind my abnormal looks. One, I'm scared, and two, I'm shy. But one thinng I wasn't afraid of was to run away from Aimee's dad. As I eventualy got out of sight and he drove off I regreted it in a instant. Paul could have been the one way ticket to meeting Amiee at least now and again, now I have no chance. I may as well give up.
