Cake asked me if I could tell you one of my fabulous stories. And I just said "Why not?"
I choose to tell you how I got my feathers, sounds good, eh? So, how do I start?
Well...
I was just a kid, with the size of a small kitten. I was wandering trough the woods, looking for a present to my mom(It was the day before her birthday)
When I walked a little while, I saw some beautiful flowers and ran happily to them.
"Yay, Mama will be so happy!" I said happily and danced around them. It was roses in all different colors, lilies in different kinds and irises everywhere! It was a beautiful sight. So I started to pick a big bouquet for my lovely mom. The sun began to set, but I was to concentrate on the flowers to noticed that. After a while, it started to be dark. When I've finally was done, I've got the most beautiful bouquet in the world. When I looked around, I noticed that the birds didn't sing and it was almost pitch black. And if that wasn't enough, I realized I was lost. Of course I was scared, and almost started to cry. Then I just began to be mad at myself. "Stop Iris, you have to be brave!" I said to myself and looked around. "So, which way is it?" I said and started to walk to -what I hoped- was the right direction. Suddenly, I heard something and my body was paralyzed. I turned my head to the sounds direction, something walked out of the shadows and it was a...
little bird.
I sighed and walked to the little creature.
"Hello, you nearly scared me to death!" I said with a smile. The bird tweeted happily.
"Haha, yeah I'm fine. But... were is your parents? It's dangerous out here" I said and the bird looked down in the ground and it's body started to shiver.
"Oh, don't be sad! I'm lost too. You know what? I'll help you find your parents, okay?" I said and the bird looked into my eyes, full of happiness. It started to tweet happily.
"You can sit on my head" I said and the bird climbed up to my hair. And so, we started to walk.
After an hour I started to be really tired.
"Okay, Tweety, lets take a rest" I said, but the bird didn't answer. I realized that the bird already had fall asleep. I lay down in the grass, nearly a big tree. And after a few minutes, I've also finally fall asleep.
When the sun started to rise, we've already started to walk, searching after Tweety's mother. Suddenly, we've heard a loud cry from the sky.
Then, a big bird landed near us. And looked down on my head.
"Oh, there you are!" She said, and walked toward us. She took Tweety in hear beak and put her into something that reminds of a pouch on her belly. The big bird was really beautiful. Her feathers looked like rainbow.
"I am Garcia, the Rainbow-Phoenix. You'd save my little child, so at least, tell me your name young Kiamara" She said with a beautiful voice.
"I'm.. Iris. Acro Iris" I said, with a very tiny voice.
"Iris.. That's a beautiful name. So, Iris... What are you doing here?"
"I'm... I'm lost. I picked this bouquet for my mama, it's her birthday today" I said and turned around so Garcia could see the bouquet on my back.
"Oh, little child. You are so brave, and you saved my child, I owe you"
"Thanks, but the only thing I want right now is to go home to my mama and papa" I said and tears rolled down my cheek.
"Don't cry, I will take you home. Get on my back, I will fly you to your village" Garcia said and I climbed up on her back.
"Hold on tight!" She said and lifted from the ground. The view from the sky was amazing, and I was full of happiness.
"Garcia, this is... AMAZING!" I shouted and I could swear that Garcia smiled. A hour pasted, and I could finally see my little village. I started to cry again, but this time it was tears of joy and happiness. We landed, and my mother ran and hugged me.
"Oh Iris, I was so worried! Were have you been young lady?" She said
"I was on an exploration! I started to pick a present for your birthday, and then I realized I was lost. Then I found Tweety, and then her mother helped me!" I said happily.
"Thank you, mrs...?" my mother said
"Garcia, the rainbow-phoenix. Your daughter saved my child, so I just did the right for her" Garcia said and smiled.
"I really love your feathers Garcia! And thanks for the trip, it was soo cool!" I said. Then, Garcia picked two feathers from her body and gave them to me.
"Here you go, they will bring you luck" She said, and suddenly she was gone. I turned to my mother.
"Happy birthday, mama!" I said, and we both smiled
