re-trying for Soilder

I really don't get why he hasn't gotten entries! I mean I can't resist his face, the new revamp isn't helping me resist the cuteness. I could simply adore to bring the little star of the code drop home. He'll get some serious cuddles from his mate Gaia, <3
Username:perros1234
Name:Soilder
Gender:Stallion
Species:Mustang
Kennel Number:51
Why would you like this character/What will you do for this character?:Soilder's desgin is amazing. It's so natrual and simple! I love it. Most people go for super complex difficult characters. It's so sad when a bunch of simple characters are left behind. Most of them are so cute, but everyone ignores them. So I'm going to go for Soilder. It's not just because his desgin is simple, I also love him because I've never had a horse character before and I think it should be really intersting. Also even a tough guy like Soilder needs a little love, he'll get plenty from me(I'm sure many other people will like him too), but Soilder still needs a little horse time. So I inteed to get him a mate. In fact I think I just saw one that is perfect and she is for adoption here, so I think I will try out for her too. Soilder needs a little love from her. And he will get love from her. I know he has like two colours, but thats why he is so intersting! The fact that other people would dissim him as just a boring character makes me a little irrated but if they hadn't I wouldn't be going for this beaty. I will try and do as much art as I possibly can. I'll mostly draw him on paper since I'm a better artist on paper, I'll go and give it a shot a colouring linearts(Digital kills me!). I think I might experiment on actaully drawing him here. Though it will be hard, but I will try. I'll draw Soilder everywhere I can, my sketch book will be mostly for drawings, coloured or a fail attempt at shading. My math book and will mostly be for doodles(don't tell my teacher I am doodling him!) and really I'll try to draw him anywhere that there is paper. Of course I will try and save up some pets to order some art of him. Soilder will get a place in my Character page, though it's still a WIP, he'll be shown off with pride(not the type of showing off that is considered as bragging), and once I figure out(I would appreciate some help in this area since I don't know how to do it) how to put him on my siggy. He will get the spotlight, though I'm sorry he will have to share it with my other characters. Sorry Soilder, *Soilder sighs in relif that he doesn't need to be in the spotlight forever*.
Personality:LoyalSoilder is a very loyal stallion he will never abondon you. Though, Soilder is loyal he is only loyal to few. Only to those that have somehow lodged themselves deep into his heart. It takes time, believe me. Just because you have know him for a while doesn't mean he will be instantly loyal. He has to know you like the back of his hoof(trying to make a expression here!)? Soilder will always try and help you even if he has had the roughest day and all he really wants to do is go run in the fields, he will still stay down and help you, only if you have somehow lodged yourself into is heart.
Protective
Soilder also is protective to those he holds dear which are very few. Even if someone makes the smallest comment about someone he loves and holds dear, they will have to go through Soilder which believe me isn't easy. When it comes to protecting loved ones it isn't a matter about his saftey, its all about them. Soilder will put himself in danger for his inner circle. No matter what the cost, even if it means getting chewed out by his mate. He doesn't care, his mate will also put herself in danger for him, and them he will chew her out for taking over his job. Soilder always, no matter the cost will be there for his loved ones(Along with his mate).
Slightly Nervous
Soilder admits he has never been a calm stallion. Never. Peroid. Humans make him very nervous and he doesn't want to do anything with him. Lots of people have tryed to train him(so people can ride him), Soilder panicks and starts rearing and bucking trying ot get rid of the dead weighty according to Soilder. Soilder is okay with some animals. He likes birds, in fact he likes to watch them feed and fly it was something that he did before. Cats..he is mostly okay with but he doesn't like it when cats hiss at him, that gets him more irrated than nervous. Usaully a snort will scare them off. Dogs..well not really. Barking dogs make him nervous, he's afraid of being too late,if the dog attacks a loved one which is highly unlikely. Even if a dog is completely calm and friendly he is still very wary about them. Preffering to keep his distance, and making sure his loved ones too.
A little Anti-Social
Like I mentionded before that Soilder if you want him to protect you and be loyal to you, you have to get into his inner circle. For most animals it takes just too long to get close to Soilder, it's not worth the wait and frustation. It just takes too long, you have to have a type of paince never pushing him or pressuring him. Only a couple of horses have this type of panince wiht him. Soilder just looks for true friends instead of getting a million friends that he knows nothing about. Soilder likes to have only a couple(like two) friends and his mate that will never leave him and he will never leave them either. Soilder tends to be alone, with his mate or a friend. Soilder will talk to other horses though most conversations are brief and short. Before the other horse wanders off and Soilder goes in search of his mate.

History: Soilder tossed his head nervously, he really hated being crammed into one small space with a whole herd of horses, or maybe even more. He tryed to canter off, though he bumped into a bigger stallion that glared down at him. As quick as lightning Soilder quickly hid behind a roan mare that gave him a quizzacal look. He shrugged at her and manged to push his way past the ocean of colourful coats. He trotted with the herd, or was it herds? On the outer ring, they were being rounded up, every year a bunch of humans came up and herded up a whole lot of horses, then they were brought so a bunch of people could see them. Sometimes someone would pick out a horse and the horse would walk away. Soilder would
never humans and their strange ways. He'd gone there a couple times, the most recent years he'd galloped away as soon as possible. He'd never really been comfortable around humans, something about them gave him a bad gut feeling. He preffered to keep his distance and let them do all the their crazy stuff. They were quite odd in his opnion. Quite odd indeed. Though today he'd been caught off guard, those pesky humans shouldn't have come untill at least a couple days, poor Soilder didn't get a single warning. Now he was stuck. He scowled at his stupidity, why hadn't he bolted when they came into sight? No! He'd decided that it wouldn't hurt to get a drink of water first! Now, Soilder was regretting that choice. Soilder pranced nervously as one of the humans approached, he fought the urge to flee, he had no where to go. He'd most likely injurer himself trying. He quickly moved closer to the front, if there was an opening, he was going for it. It seemed as if the humans read his mind as no openings came out. Soilder winned loudly, could this day get any worse? Well the answer was yes. It could get much worse and it was about to get worse. The trip, was much worse than he remebered. At the end of it, he was sore, hungry, and terribly thirsty, despite the quick drink before the round up. He stumbled into one of the pens, there was a water trought, that unfourently was being assulated by a group of foals. Soilder, thirsty, he knew he had to get that water. They are just foals, I can just push one or two to get a quick drink. Soilder really hated bullies, and he hated even more having to be a bully. Though he doubted that he could get some water without some sort of resistance of some kind. Keeping his head low he trotted over to the water trought, the foals, turning their heads to see a full grown horse. He snorted loudly, two of the more skittish foals skittered away. Another pair of foals just starred at him. He tossed his head and shouldered his way to the water. He need some water. The cold liquid slipped into his mouth refreshing him, he sighed in relif and backed off, the foals giving him dirty looks. Ignoring them, he slowly trotted to the fence, fatherest away from the other horses and humans. Right now he just wanted to be alone. Was that too much to ask for? Resting his neck on the worn wooden fence he stared out into space. Though unfourently Soilder was in a pasture with too many horses for quiet so he kept hearing snatches of conversations.
"This year they came early...too early....,"
"I'm so sore, mom!"
Soilder tried and slightly crabby really didn't want to hear the loud conversation, but Soilder moved his ears in every possible way, yet he could not block out the voices. He whined louldy. The people were starting to rush in. Sometimes, okay more like all the time, humans were plain annoying. Shuffling away from the crowd, he contuined to stare into open space. When a human face came into view. They were starring at him. Muttering in low voices. Soilder snorted, and they thought that he couldn't hear them! The two odd humans, walked over to a man and chatted for a while. Then the man stepped into the pen. Snorts came from the horses and a occasoinal comment.
"Mom! Why is he coming in?" a foal whinned.
Soilder snorted. They'd probaly come to get that well behaved stallion and the gorgeous mare. He was extremly surpised when the man walked to him. Soilder tried to back away, though his rump hit the side of the fence. Cornered there was nothing he could do when the man clipped a thing onto his head(halter) and a small flexiable stick(lead rope) to it and pulled him away. Soilder struggled in every possible way. Refusing to walk, tried to rear, and bolting. This guy was tough. He snorted in anger as he was led up to the pair of humans. Who chirped something and gently led him to some sort of shelter with round things on the bottom(trailer). They flipped something down and tried to led him gently. He tried to rear in fright though they kept a tight grip and didn't let him.
After around half an hour, they manged to get Soilder snugly loaded.
They started to drive, Soilder's eyes started to roll back into his head in fear. A roar sounded in his ears and a small whine escaped. Soilder was defaintly not enjoying the ride. Not one bit.
They soon arrived at a huge barn, filled with horses, he was lead kindly to a pasture. Soilder bolted into it and began imedaittly began grazing. He was starving. Looking up he saw a someone leading another mustang into a arena. Poor person. The ride did not go well for them. The mare ziggzaged and bolted, bucked and skidded, throwing off her rider. The poor person lead the mare into his pasture, tossing her mane happily she trotted up to him, and flashed him a cheery smile.
"I'm Gaia," she said.
~The End~Sorry about the ending. ^^ I hope I get to bring Soilder home.
