"A Harbinger of Demise"

"The Reaper Rune may have the appearance of a Rune Dragon but is to never be considered one. This dark creation was built by advance technology far beyond anything seen today and it's creators are unknown. It has one purpose and that is to extinguish and harvest all life on any planet it sets foot on. It has an indomitable will which it imposes on life forms making them go mad and eventually turn into husks. This process is known as indoctrination, and is highly advised that you do not stay near the creature long for losing ones mind to the beast. This Dragon is only a small sentry though, and while it is indeed a form of Reaper tech, it is only the size of an elephant. A true Reaper is incomprehensible in size but this Reaper Rune is used for infiltration and ultimately indoctrination. The sounds it makes will shatter bones and instill fear into the hearts of the living, as it's bellowing call resembles the noise of many trumpets at once. This Rune does have speech but rarely uses it, feeling it must process things slower if it uses the tongue of man. It will much prefer to simply indoctrinate it's foe slowly and patiently, for the Reaper Rune is indefinite and has all the time in the world to complete it's purposes. No one knows where this creature comes from but it is surmised that it dwells in the stars and travels through space on a purpose unbeknownst to the rest of us. The Reaper Rune has set it's sights on Eldemore and is the first of it's kind to come here. It likes what it sees on this planet, and this can not be good for the rest of us..."

This Rune Dragon is not up for adoption and says who it's owner already is. The only Runes that are up for adoption are those which say "Adopt Me" on their picture.

Benathorn, you know how much I'm grateful that you put all that time and effort together to make me the most epic rune ever. I am forever in your debt for giving me exactly what I wanted and then some, going far beyond what you should have. ^^ And I know someday you'll hate me (a lot) if I ever manage to win a spot to make him an Ancient, as I hope... because, well, who can't want that?

For me, one of the hardest things is making a decision when I'm stuck between two or three... and it's really hard not to have someone around to bounce ideas off of. I've been thinking of rough ideas about this rune and my rune bearer, how they met, where they are going, and more. It's definitely made me want to enjoy your world all the more, which I have yet to experience with anything else here on CS.

So when it comes to names... He needs something that is just as epic. I never go for the obvious, but I knew this is the Rune you can't give an interesting name, or a nice pretty name, and expect to enjoy it. I know deep down he probably has a true name, a name maybe I'll learn someday. But can you imagine calling him anything other than Sovereign, the supreme ruler of all things? He may be the Harbinger of Demise, but he won't take anything other than word that means he is superior over everything.

So basically I'm saying I would like to call him Sovereign. Not quite as striking and original as I'd usually handle (and I went from Thanix, Nazara, to things like Malik, Cratus, etc. I've explored many possibilities... So is it possible to someday grow to learn the rightful name of your rune? I'm thinking that the Runes are giving names by their owners the majority of the time.

Apologies about the chattiness. It's a bad habit I have, which I'm sure you're familiar with. I'll be posting personality and likely a story with him on my character page.

I am just loving how many ME fans we are finding on our Rune Dragons adoptables. ^_^
I am very glad so many of you like it and to find some other ME fans on here. It is quite hard to find you guys on CS but and do understand where you are coming from Skeseth. I can not imagine him with any other name honestly.

Thanks I actually found Rune Dragons /because/ of Mass Effect. The only time I was able to chat about ME was with Sherlock on a xat chat, eventually led me to the RP and then to you. XD But otherwise, I don't know any other ME fans but you guys. ^^; So I'm glad to know that you think the name fits too. Not sure if it'd ever change, if I'd be allowed to, it's just... him.

You are indeed welcome to change the name whenever you want to. This is your Rune Dragon and you are welcome to do with him as you please. I had a lot of fun creating him and it was a real challenge to see if I could even pull off a Reaper Rune, so I do thank you for that because I would have never got up the nerve to do so unless it was specifically requested in a custom.
