My pick for this Jelly Bean would be Hakka. This is not a English word, and in Japan the word Hakka is also used as "mint" here. This could be the herb itself, or the candy. The reason I named this boy the name Hakka was the way his pelt color is. The light green, white, and middle color green all have a very similar color to the mint candy, or herb. Even after so many used the name Tick Tak, I could not help but feel the name Mint on the this dragon for the colors he shows. Yet, even then I wanted his name not to be a simple name, but a special name that defines him from all other Jelly Bean Dragons as the Mint Dragon. His name worked with Hakka, and I plan to use this name to it'f fullest if he is won.

To start off Hakka would be a very quiet type of JB. He is not up for most of the talking, or chit-chat around him, yet if you ask this boy might just warm up to you to talk. Yet, not really as he grown does he enjoy to talk as much as when he was young. Now, he just enjoys to watch life of others, and keep thoughts to himself unless he is questioned. Normally, he is a very outgoing type of dragon yet just does keep to himself when he likes which gives him the type of a quiet male.

The simplicity is amazing. After all, simplicity is beauty. And my personal interpretation of the colors adds a meaning I can not describe.


Starts out plain as all things should. A clean and clear palette. LIght green for youth. Darker green for born of nature. Yellow eyes symbolize the intesnsity of his soul. (Eyes are windows to the soul am I right?)

Personality : Konani is a very intelligent. He loves to study and read books. His friends always tease him that he should have glasses since he's so smart. Konani doesn't care really. Konani can sometimes act a little "female-ish", hence he may make a girlish squeal at something a male wouldn't usually find cool. He's been this way since he was little, and just found that he was bisexual. Konani is not interesting in settling down into a relationship with anyone, but he doesn't like to have someone with him as his lover. He loves children to his fullest extent, and wishes he could run a JBD baby daycare. His friends always tell him he has such a bright personality, he'd be perfect for the position.

Tabu can be a messer and is always looking to have fun.He thinks that he has real swag, which isn't untrue I suppose :3 He also loves reading, his favourite book would have to be War Horse. If anything Tabu loves to learn about history and what happened in the past. Tabu is very sneaky and can get away with a few things here and there. He loves to play pranks on his friends and loves a good joke. Tabu can be Sarcastic at times, but in a good way for he never harms anyone, and doesn't plan to. He is a very sweet and Loyal JBD and likes to keep cheerful and happy.
Why I want him:
I would love to finally own a JBD, believe it or not, I have been watching JBDs since they first came out.In fact, I was online when they were first posted! I didn't really decide to apply for Any of the JBDs up until now, and for one thing, I do not like everything, some designs I wouldn't apply for, becasue I am a picky person, but I came across this, and it was just a brilliant beautiful blend of all my favourite colours! I just had to apply! :3 I just love him so very much! You could say i'm getting attached a little...I love to draw him! Even though i'm not great at drawing and his design can be a Challenge, I enjoy the challenge!

Tabu loves to do many things! Here are them things ---
Painting
Tabu is very creative and likes to share it. When he paints he would paint out his emotions or else he is just feeling inspired ^^ He loves to paint pieces of nature and most of his paintings you will finds trees, Flowers, Rain and the sun. Sometimes in the summer he likes to paint the beach and usually the sun likes to have a big smile and a face x3

Tabu loves challenges and gives himself more everyday! He will challenge his friends to a race and with Tabu's speed he is some real good competition! Some of his other JBD friends can be faster than him but he will always put up a great fight no matter what!

Reading
In some spare time when he isn't doing everything else in the world, Tabu likes to read. His favourite book is War Horse and close behind that is the boy in the Striped Pajamas, but he doesn't like to read it alot or with friends because it always makes him cry at the end x3

So yeah, Tabu also loves eating! And he will eat whatever tickles his taste buds! ^3^ But his most favourite food is blueberry pie, and he can resist Nothing for that!
Swimming
Tabu also likes to swim, and is generally a quite good swimmer ^3^ Though he only swims in the Shallow water..He doesn't want the sharks of the swimming pool to eat him now does he?

Short Story:
Tabu lay underneath his favourite willow tree, the breeze ruffling his fur. His eyes opened wide in the sunlight and he got up and stretched. He walked down to the lake and took a drink. "Help, Help!" Tabu heard a voice calling. He looked around him he couldn't see anybody..."Help! Up here!" He looked up and saw a lemur in a tree. He walked over to the tree and looked up, "Whats the matter?!" He called to her. "I'm stuck!" She shouted back down. Tabu's face went blank with irritation...A lemur? Stuck in a tree?! "But your a Lemur! How on earth can you be stuck?" He looked at her, "Just GET ME DOWN!!" She was now yelling, Tabu laughed "Alright, jokes up, what is this?!" He said, looking all around him. Lemur was becoming inpatient, "There is no joke! Help me down!" Tabu rolled his eyes and sighed then started climbing the tree and as soon as he was close enough to the Lemur it jumped onto him and held on, nearly making Tabu fall if it weren't for his tail. Tabu jumped to the ground to find that he was surrounded by other Lemurs, wolves, equines and birds. He looked around as the Lemur hopped off. "HOORAY!" They all shouted, Tabu was confused... "Whats going on?" Tabu asked. A horse stepped forward, "You have saved our Calasta! You are now invited to our celebration! And you will get a special badge for your bravery!" Tabu looked blankly at the horse..."Ok.." Tabu had know idea what was going on, "Great! It is held tonight at Dream lake!" And with that all the animals took off. 'That was strange...' Tabu thought to himself and then went and lay down under his tree again.

Tabu arrived at the celebration and was greeted by a wolf and a bird. "We have been expecting you!" They both said together, "I am Cartasia!" The wolf said, "And I am Zenphi." The bird said too. "Follow us!" The wolf skipped along and the bird flew above. Tabu just walked behind them. They brought him to the front of the Lake, there was the horse too. Tabu walked up to him, "Ah Tabu! You have arrived!" Tabu was puzzled, he didn't recall telling the horse his name? "Ahem!" The horse spoke up and the whole crowd that was there, and that was loads, had turned to him and the horse now. "I,Vixen the 1st , Will now present the badge of honor and bravery to Tabu! For his courage of saving Calasta!" He turned and picked something up and turned back to Tabu. "I only got her out of a tree...and shes a lemur!" He mumbled, just not loud enough for anyone to here. Vixen put the badge on Tabu, It was a large jellybean stuck on him with mud. "Really? Why didn't I see this coming?!" He said aloud to himself. "Ok thats the ceremony finished! Lets go!" All the crowd left, leaving Tabu alone. "Really?!" He moaned, walking off back to his willow tree.

Tabu lay under his willow tree that night thinking about the weird day that started with a help. But there is one thing that was true and that Tabu could admit, that this was the weirdest day of his life!
