One sunny Monday in a faraway field, a young JBD played with a small Angora bunny. He had fun with it and played hopscotch with it all day long. Let's go back, shall we? It was 6 AM and this kiwi colored JBD had already gotten up and started mowing the lawn. Some of the grass flew over to a small bunny rabbit. "Ello! I'm Anne Marie, it seems you are mowing your lawn, no?" the creature kindly spoke. The JBD looked back at the rabbit and turned off the lawn mower. "Why yes I am. Nice to meet you. I am Diesel," he politely answered. "Well, I have no one to play with, and you seem like a jolly good fellow!" Anne Marie explained. Diesel threw the lawn mower in his garage and played with the bunny all day long. That's just how caring Diesel is <3

One school day, in a quiet classroom...

Diesel sat at his desk and patiently watched the teacher teach the class. He wrote down all of this information down in his notebook. Soon, the bell rang. "Well class, time to go!" the teacher said. Everyone but Diesel was relieved and ran out of the classroom. Diesel just sat there and wrote in his notebook. His teacher walked over to his desk. "Hello Diesel," she politely said. Diesel looked up at her and then back at his notebook. He wrote a long story. It read, "It's been another amazing school day. I still can't find out why everyone else hates this school so much. It is a great school, and learning is one important thing. They should know." He closed his notebook and hugged the teacher. That's when he knew he was intelligent.

Reason I Want Him

This is a handsome young JBD right in front of me. I can see the resemblance between him and my little Kimoa. They would be the best brothers, playing all day, and teaching each other new things every minute of the time they may spend with each other.. if I win this JBD. I notice the twinkle in his eyes, and the softness of his long fur. I can almost feel the tail's fluffiness and smell the lemon scent on him. I know someday, just someday, I will really be able to feel and smell all of those things. For now, the closest I will get is owning him virtually... Or at least, really to me.. Because this is the most alive JBD I have ever seen, and it blows my mind that some people can't see that... What I want for this amazing Jelly Bean Dragon is to have a wonderful owner, that will put him in the spotlight. Care for him, love him, let him jump on the couch, let him rest on their bed, let him eat a bunch of cheese... Have a creative name for him, make him feel special... My friend Neve ran around our cabin with the XBox controller in her hand, "For the seventh time in a row!" I smiled, "Can we go outside now?" Neve gave me puppy dog eyes, "One more game? Pleeeeeeaaaaase???"
"Fine."
"Yesssss!" She ran and jumbed into the beanbag chair with a "Swoosh". I picked up my controller. Okay, x to run, a to...wait...isn't it a to run and x to jump? Ugh. I set the controller back down, "I'm gonna go outside to get some fresh air, this game is making my head spin." "Okay." Neve said, without taking her eyes off the screen. I began to walk towards the door, but stopped in mid-step, "Do you smell that?"
"It's probably nothing..."
I ran to the door and flung it open. "Oh no, oh no, no no, no, ohhhh no. NEVE WE GOTTA GO, NOW!" She paused the game and looked up, "Just let me finish this level!"
"Neve their is a-"
"Just one more!"
I unplugged the XBox and smashed it, "We have to go." Neve stared wide-eyed at her broken XBox, "Gaia, you just smashed our-" I grabbed her tail and dragged her out the door, "FOREST FIRE!" I yelled. Neve glared at me, "You could've told me that before you smashed the XBox!" I pointed towards the direction of Yellowstone lake, the closest body of water, "RUN!"
We both bolted towards the lake. I turned to my left, and then to my right. Birds were flying overhead and other animals were running alongside us. Wait. I turned back to my left. A bird was stuck to a low tree branch with a small bell attached to its leg. "Neve!" I yelled, "Don't wait for me!" I ran up to the tree, jumped, and broke the tree branch with my paw. I hated to hurt the poor tree, but it was the only way to save that bird. It flew high into the air, probably happy that it was free. I smiled to myself and kept running, the flames hot on my heels. (no pun intended) once it burned my ankle. I cried out in pain but kept running. I didn't stop untill i felt the ice cold water running down my fur. I scanned the lake. Neve was there, along with several other animals. Something splashed into the water just ahead of me. I dove underwater and caught it. It was a small bell, about the size of a walnut. I looked up and saw the same bird. As it flew away, i could've sworn i saw it smile.

"Neve, c'mon!" I yell, beckoning ny mint-colored friend over. She sighed, shuffling over."What?" Neve huffs, and taps her foot impatiently, like a mother waiting for her child to submit to guilt.I roll my shimmering, forest green- eyes, and point at the beautiful, shiny device behind the glass. "Gaia. This is the friggin' most amazing gaming system EVER. I loove Xboooox..." Neve swoons, muzzle smushed against the wall like a dead bug.(You know, whenever bugs get stuck on the front of your car.) My gaze laid on the magnificent thing, but eventually hovered over to the price tag. I swear, I think my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets!!! Neve looked up at me and cocked her head, looking at me as if I'd grown two heads. " 'S the matter?" she asks, voice coated and dripping with conern. Her violet eyes look to the direction I was, and her jaw drops."How...How are we gonna get $500 bucks?" We pause for a moment, thoughts weaving through our brains to make an idea blanket. Then, as if by chance, an advertisement for two ameature Yellowstone Park Rangers pops up on the video screen near me.(I don't know how these things work. =P)"Park Rangers!" I squeal, my usually quiet, cool voice now shrill and excited. My pelt looks like a mad scientist's, all poofed up, and Neve sniggers."You look like a walking afro~" She giggles, and I urge her to look the way I was."We can help animaaals...~" I counter, finally grabbing her attention. Her eyes light up like the sun, and she nods vigorously."Then get me an application, baby!"

"Finallyyyyyy!!" Neve squeaks, jumping up and down in place. We both marvel at the box on the table, the only thing keeping us from the treasure inside."Want me to open it?" Carefully, I unlatch the box and lift up the lid."There it is!!" Neve says quietly, and I know she's keeping back screams. We stare at each other, earthy green meeting an otherwordly violet, and we begin screaming and shrieking like there's no tomorrow. "We did it, we did it~" Neve chants, hopping around her house like an overcaffinated bunny. I look at the long-awaited prize, finally in our hands. Mother Nature, I'm positive this isn't gonna help you much, this here Xbox, but I'm sure you won't mind, right? I think, plugging it in.

❀When I Knew I was Destined to Help Nature❀

A young JBD bounds through the forest, hardly older than a hatchling. Her pelt matched the colors of the world around her, so she could easily sneak up on things. The little dragoness sneaks forward, ready to pounce on a nearby rock. She springs, landing atop the smooth surface. Looking around, she examines the forest with pride, for this was her home. The youth pads forward, about to hop off the stone, but is startled by a loud yelp. She falls forward, head first. Grumbling, the little female decides to see what it was, and gasps at the sight. Some lazy human had left a plastic bag caught on a branch, and now, a deer was tangled in it, near dead. Should she help, or not? The dragon ponders, but inside, she hears a voice.Go, help. It is your destiny to assist the Earth. The voice influenced her, made her realize she belonged here. Green eyes flashing, she tears away at the bag, hoping the victim doe was still alive. For hours, the dragoness sat with the limp mass of fur, until it began to stir. It's small, button-like eyes shimmered,as if saying 'Thank You',then hopped away, as if nothing happened. The JBD still sat, proud of herself for saving the deer's life. That's when she knew, then and there, that she was the guardian of this forest, and she had to care for all of its needs and cries for help.

❀Why we Want Her❀
Well, this is Mosshadow, but I know I speak for the both of us when I say this girl is GORGEOUS. Her patterns and pelt color remind me of the gorgeous world we live on, and I simply adore that. Myself, I've always been a bit of an Earth- loving, tree- hugger, and this design just speaks to me. It also reminds me of one of the first times Feathertail and I talked, back in 5th Grade, the splotch of brown ice-cream on the wall in the cafeteria.( I'm not too sure she remembers that, hehe.) This baby is lovely and amazing from the tip of her ear to the last fuzz on her bushy tail. Gaia and Neve could be Earth- police together, Neve saving injured animals, and Gaia doing...Just about everything else XD. Feather and I really want this sweetheart, and if we do win her, she'll officially be Feathertail's first JBD, for I own little Neve already. Whenever we talk about JBDs, I always hear the longing in her voice for one, and when I saw Gaia, I nearly flipped out. She was perfect. Trust me, if we get her, she'll go to a loving, cozy home surrounded by people who love her, plus a companion JBD! Sorry for the long forum, I just know how much Feather and I want her, and I know people with short forums want them the same amount as people with long forums, but I felt the need to put all this in so you see how much effort we'll put into loving Gaia~

Sometimes, Frolic looks around and sees other Jellys and feels... alone. He sees their staring eyes verses their cheery smile or welcoming gesture. He can not talk in front of people let alone carry on a conversation, so he is usually labeled 'the quiet one'.

Frolic is smart beyond all means. He is an accomplished inventor, artist, and astronomer. His home is in the woods where his browns and greens can blend in nicely. His home is made of wood and rope. The logs are tied together by the rope and built in a hut shape. A series of pulleys are sorted strategically throughout his home for opening windows, and a skylight for night gazing.

He just understands when someone is trying to tell him something. As they are explaining with all their emotions and their mind going haywire, he is a calm, hard, rock for leaning and understanding. Frolic tends to finish people's sentences when words will not come to them. Even though he can not talk to others, doesn't mean he does not understand what they are trying to say.

~~Why the Bell?~~
Because Avocado always wanders outside, it is hard to find her sometimes. She was also scared when there was silence. The solution was putting a bell on her tail. When she ran, the bell would ring, showing where she is. It also is a great addition to her piercings, and thats why that certain bell was chosen.
~~Her Thoughts on the Bell~~
Throughout her life, Avocado had grown fond of the soothing ring of the bell. It gave her something to listen to in eerie silence, and made sure her owner could find her. It also had a beautiful sound that Avocado loves(With restrictions).
It also annoys her, though, at some times. For instance, she cannot play hide and seek, for her bell will always ring and give her hiding spot away.

~~Why I want Her~~
Because she is... beautiful. I love nature, by the way, and this JBD screams nature. He has the coloring of tree leaves and bark, which are, of course, nature. Also, her coloring looks like camouflage, which is used to hide in nature. It's not only that reason why I love her, though. Her markings are not too complicated, so I can make lots of art of her. The simplicity of the color scheme and markings is also pleasing to the eye. There is nothing wrong with this. Its perfect. I love this one so much..... she is my dream JBD. If I win her, I will probably be so happy I will probably start bouncing around with happiness and cry with tears of joy.
~~What I Would do with Her~~
I would make her a thread to put all her art in and add to her personality and form. I would make lots of art with her, and possibly a plush animal. Truthfully, I wanted to make a stuffed animal of one of the creatures I won before I saw this girl, and would love to try it. I would do other things, to, but that is unclear. I'll just let time choose the rest.

Avocado and Density on a Walk

Density and Avocado were walking on a nature trail in the forest, taking time to observe the natural beauty. It was morning time- The sun was shining brightly. Density had sewn a hat for Avocado the day before, looking like a coonskin cap, but being made of grey, black, and brown fabrics, which Avocado was wearing. Density was wearing a pink and yellow dress, not hesitating to because she and Avocado were not by civilization, and enjoying the sunshine, humming a tune her mother once sung for her. Avocado was walking along, stopping every now and then to dig and find a root or beetle. As she dug, some mud had gotten on Density's dress, and Density frowned.
I'm so sorry, Density! I didn't mean to get that on you. I'll wipe it off for you.
It's ok, Avocado.
Density said in a soft voice. She was starting to get less shy around other Jelly Bean Dragons, but was still had shyness.
As Avocado carefully scraped the dirt off with her paw, she heard a rustle in a bush.
What was that? Avocado, you said there was no one here.
Actually, I meant not many. There are still woodland creatures, don't worry.
Like bunnies and squirrels, right?
Yep.
Density sighed in relief.
Actually, it was a bunny, frolicking around the forest and making the leaves crunch under it's feet.
Ahh, don't you love the summertime? The birds and creatures frolic around, and the flowers are in bloom!
I do but I like... spring..a bit.. better.
You sound a little uncomfortable. You don't have to answer me. It really is my fault- I'm WAY too talkative. And don't worry- Spring is my other favorite.
This time , knowing she didn't have to talk, Density just smiled at Avocado and both continued to walk with only the sound of the slight breeze, rustle of leaves, and the gurgling of streams.
5 minutes later, the two friends' silence was broken when Avocado saw two trees- A Cottonwood and a Paper Birch.
Hey Density, check this out! These two trees are some of my favorite trees.
Why?
Well, first of all, look at this tree with the white bark. A Paper Birch! Now, strip some of the bark off, but not too much.
Density stripped some of the bark off. She now held an almost paper- thin bendable (ish) piece of white bark.
I just love how these trees' bark is so different from the rest. You know, I once drew a picture on one.
Pointing to the next tree, Avocado made yet another speech.
And this one is a cottonwood. Why do the pods have to be so high up? Uhh... may you please wait a second? I just need to climb up this tree.
Wait. I can help.
Small pod hanging in the tree,
Come down now and come to me!
One of the groups of small, green pods levitated down into Density's hand.
Density, you will always amaze me when you use magic.! How do you do it?????
Simple actually. I just believe that girls come into this world programmed to be spiritually connected to the universes' secrets.
But I'm a girl.
Well.. I think you may need to find out... how to...use them.
Oh, ok. Now, I will show you what is so special.
Avocado grabbed a pod and squished it. White fluff was in it.
See? Have you ever seen a more unusual thing coming from a tree? Usually you only see fluff in stores! It's amazing, isn't it?
I don't think so. How interesting! I could use this possibly for making my own toy or sewing.
Great!
As Densiny started popping more pods, Avocado started playing with her piece of fluff. Soon, Density had all the fluff she could carry- but it was quite messy.
We better get home now- I don't want your dress to get more messy because of me.
The two walked home, keeping the memory of their nature walk together in their mind- and hearts.

Avocado had set up a board and checkers on a dark brown wooden table. The two Jelly Bean Dragons were getting ready to play a calm, strategic game of checkers. Avocado was holding her favorite food, an avocado, ready to eat it. Density was setting one of her plush toys down where she could see it, smiling as she saw the plush's cute little face. She suddenly remembered she was with her friend and slinked away from the plush over to Avocado.
So, are you ready to start?
Sure!
The two friends went over to the table and did their best to stand on their hind legs, putting their forelegs on the table to balance. They both made sure all the checkers were in the right place.
Do you want to start?
Sure! Thanks!
Avocado made her first move. She moved the left corner one to the right.
The two continued their game, making many great strategies and moves. Many shout outs were heard, too.
King me!
I will now jump you!

Aha!
It was a juicy game play, and soon it came down to the final pieces. Both were kings and very close to each other. Avocado started to move her piece towards Density's. Density moved her king away. Soon, Avocado's king was practically chasing Density's king. Finally, Density's piece turned towards Avocado's piece. Avocado unsuspectingly moved a bit closer...
Density quickly jumped Avocado's piece.
You won, Density! Awesome job!

The two friends may have been done with their game, but they still had plenty more things to do!

Well.. I love being a jelly bean dragon a lot. I just can't decide! There are so many!

I think Density is... I'm not sure if she thinks so back.

Well, I like going on walks, if that counts. I also collect interesting rocks- You should see my gem collection. I also like gardening.

Well, a lot of things peeve me. Again, I can't decide.

Blood red. I really don't like gore, and blood red looks like, well, blood.

I don't play them that much, actually. None are my favorite.

Actually, I do. Harry Potter. All of them. They are just so amazing, with great special effects, twists and turns, plots, and secrets!

Why do you love nature so much?
Why.... well, that is not a question you need to ask.
Nature is the part of the world that feeds us, lets us drink, helps us breath, and is one of the only natural beauties left in the world. Thousands of years ago, we relied on nature for every detail- shelter, clothing, food, water- Yet now we take it for granted. Every one of our products once came from nature, but now we fill them with preservatives and chemicals. The term 'man-made' Links back to nature, most times. I just love nature because of what it has done for us, and want to protect it because of all the nature we are taking away.
What is your prized rock in your collection?
There are actually lots. They all are my gems, because gems are rocks, to!
Why do you have piercings?
They look good! Anyway, I didn't want anything to girly.
Are there boys that have a crush on you?[
You know boy jelly bean dragons- They usually wont admit it. Oh wait, isn't that the girls?

I'm not sure where the inspiration behind Rio's name came from. I just saw him and that was the first thing that popped to mind. I do love the name, for it's short, simple, and quite snazzy if I do say so myself. Rio isn't a name that's short for anything, and you can't making it any shorter then it already is.
Rio...I like the name. c:

Rio, is of course, a male. Rio can be either a female or male name, for my neighbor had a female cat named Rio, and there are many books and movies with males that have the name. In my opinion, this particular JellyBean Dragon looks like a male, and since Rio fits as a male name, it works.
Of course I'm male. See the rings on the ear and my overall awesome-ness? ;3

Rio is currently twenty two years old, the oldest of my two other JellyBean Dragons. I felt like I needed an older one, considering one who is younger would kill Depre, my responsible Dragon. So Rio would be the older brother, the one is who sent to watch over his younger siblings, making sure their family is never seperated or in a fight.
Yup! I'm in charge of making sure everything goes smoothly. ^-^

Smart
To start off, Rio is a very smart JellyBean Dragon with lots of skills. That's cause I'm awesome. ..Yeah, alright then. Maybe I should put in a part that says he's also cocky.. Hey! I'm not cocky! As I was saying, Rio is very smart. He is a quick to think and if you are ever in need of a plan, he is the guy to go to. He is always thinking head, checking out every possible outcome in a situation. Being the oldest, he feels the need to be smart. You can have someone who isn't smart watching over younger siblings. That shows your aren't responsible, and Rio is always wanting to make a good impression.
Protective
Being the oldest, Rio is in charge of protecting his younger sisters. Because of this, he had grown to be very protective. He loves his sisters. Yeah, I'm not afraid of saying it.. Since he loves them so much, he doesn't want anything to ever happen to them unless it's something good. The thought of Depre and Pluie getting wounded or breaking bones is a chilling thought, one that makes Rio's stomach flip every time he thinks of this. He knows Depre is smart and can take care of herself, but Pluie is a tad childish, so she doesn't think before she acts at times. That's why I'm here, to watch over her. c:
Sweet
Rio is a very sweet and caring JellyBean Dragon. He isn't one to judge or make fun of others, and doesn't play a whole lot of pranks like Depre does. He is very calm, relaxed, and content. He doesn't mind the hyper types, though he'd prefer to not be around those who are reckless. Like his sisters, he is always wanting to make sure his friends are happy and cheered. An upset JellyBean Dragon will often rub off on him, making Rio sad. No, that doesn't make me emotional..
Forgiving
Since Rio deals with Pluie's childish nature and Depre's pranks, he will sometimes get angry and yell. Then after they say sorry, he is quick to forgive them. They are his sisters, after all, and he'd hate for something so bad to happen that they loose their bond and relationship. Yeah, family is supposed to stay together! No matter what, I will always forgive my siblings.

Bugs
For some reason, Rio has always loved bugs and small animals. He had never thought of them to be creepy or scary. In fact, he thinks they're quiet adorable. Yeah, they're so small.. He likes to let them crawl on his tail and paws, and loves all the different shapes and colors they come in. Of course, he doesn't like wasps or bees. If it stinks or stings, I dont like it.
Music
Rio, like most, loves music. All types of music. Some people like pop because it's upbeat and interesting, others like old music because they feel it's a lot more original and better. Really, Rio likes all types of music. Yup! All music is wonderful in my opinion. Rio likes how computers can make sounds that work well with lyrics, resulting in a cool song. He also likes old music, and how it sounded back then. All music is so interesting to him. Even music made with a bell, like the one around his tail.
Birds
Surprisingly, Rio loves birds. It's werid, considering birds love to eat bugs, which are also something Rio likes a lot. But yes, he loves birds. I love how they can fly. I even like the ones that dont fly. Their colors, their shapes, everything about them, Rio likes. He often chases after them in hopes that they'll let him pet them, but it never happens.
