Oh my gosh. This girl... just so beautiful... I must use my short time on the computer to apply for her.
Her name took me quite a while to decide, and I really didn't think I'd choose a name anything like it, but it stuck. And so I'll use it. I would name this beautiful girl...

Hmm, I don't really have any explanation for the name. It seemed to fit the structure of her personality that I have vaguely planned out, especially the way the word sounds. While the actual definition is a bit loose and undefined concerning a personality or history, it could definitely be worked with to make a great character. Also, it incorporates spirals, which are one of my favorite shapes out of everything and will definitely be a big helper in keeping me interested in this girl.

The Nickname

Spire is nicknamed Spy because Spire can be quite a mouthful, and it can sometimes seem a little too dark-sounding for some reason to her (although Spy isn't much better). She insists that it's spelled 'Spi', although nobody thinks of it that way, and she has some spylike tendencies (and natural looks) that she can't really deny.

History of Her Name

Spire grew up in a family of JBDs with similar gloomy colors to her. While she herself was very high-spirited and happy, her family was very traditionally gloomy and dark. They tended to give their children dark and sometimes creepy names. While it was apparent from the start that Spy was different from her family, she was given a similar dark-ish sounding name, albeit not even slightly as dark as many of her siblings. She's not the biggest fan of name, but she's learnt to deal with it, and usually uses her nickname Spy.
