Personality:
Stargazer is fun-loving, somewhat naive,
and adventurous with a sense of humor. He
possesses a deep respect for life and freedom,
and was often reluctant to fight. He craves the
stimulation of new people and places. His frequent
off-course detours frustrates both allies and
pursuers alike. Within this carefree exterior,
however, Stargazer hides a great deal of guilt
and mental burden of his past. As a natural pacifist,
Stargazer chooses to employ frustration rather than
violence against enemies. Stargazer developed
very strong bonds with his friends, his desire to
protect them, however, lead to violent emotional
outbursts when they were threatened, and
he would even resort to deceiving and hurting
others to keep the group together. Stargazer
prefers not to use his strength in battle due
to his peaceful nature. He preferred to solve
problems non-violently. Even when forced
into combat, he typically held back, fighting
defensively and trying to subdue opponents
without seriously hurting them, even if
they were not human. The only exception
to Stargazer's pacifism was when his

Sometimes, Stargazer can be fiery, hot-headed,

Stargazer isn't interested in any other

who can follow in his footsteps. He also
would love to have company, AKA a mate.

Why I want him:
I absolutely love the design. It's just stunning.
He's absolutely one of my favorite JBD, and he
reminds me of me (except I'm not a boy ).
He would make a good character too. I absolutely
love JBD's and have been trying for awhile to get one.
I don't have ANY JBDs, so I've been entering many
contests, but I haven't won any of them...

What will I use him for?:
I would love to use him as a character and a
character in a story. See, I've had a great idea
for a story, and I decided JBDs would be perfect
for them. I would also love to roleplay with him.
I am a good roleplayer and I write very detailed posts.
I would love to join the JBD fan club, but sadly, I don't
Have a JBD. So there's another reason. Sorry go
bore you, but there's one more reason. Okay,
the final thing is art. I will immediately (if
I get him) order a bunch of art. I have quite a
few artists in mind. He will immediately go on
my character thread as well.

I like this one. Doing art for this JBD is really
fun for me to do.

History:
Orange flames lick the sky in front of me. I will never forget that day. Flames engulfed our small den. My mother was the first of many deaths. Others were soon to come. Only a week old, I was paralyzed by fear. It was nothing like I've ever seen. Stunning, yet frightening. Death. That was all that I could see. First my mother, and now my brothers and sisters who were as old as I. Gone. Taken by God, away from me. Now, I was alone. Forced to live by myself. Frightened. I felt as if it were a punishment, but why?
Soon, the smoke engulfs the cave. My eyes water uncontrollably. The only noise is my coughing as smoke fills my lungs. Only now do I realize I have to leave this cave. I quickly way my choices. Stay here and be with my mother in death. Or leave and survive on my own. An adventure! My young mind goes to those thoughts. How fun! I race out of the cave into the world. Let me just say, that was the worst decision of my life. Fire engulfed the forest around me. There was no escape. I was trapped.
"Mommy!" I squeak out, but there is no answer. Of course there isn't. She's gone. My fate is in the hands of my own actions. How I handle this will change my fate forever. Through all the smoke, I can't think right. I have a crazy idea that only seems crazy as I look back at it now. My plan is to walk through the fire. How else can I get out? The thought swarms my head. There is absolutely no other way (unless I could fly). Gathering up my courage, I race through the fire, head down. Those few seconds in which I pass through the fire are breathtaking. The way the fire bends and combines into strange shapes. In it, I can see a hawk. My mother and I saw one once. But that is all behind me. She's gone. There's no point in thinking of her.
If only I had a father to protect me. If only he were here. Endless thoughts swim in my head. Seconds pass and I'm on the ground. I had landed flat on my face in the dry dirt. Lifting my head up, I could only see smoke. Coughs shook my tiny body. This can't be happening, I looked up at the moon. "What did I do to deserve all this?" I pushed myself to my feet, though my legs screamed with pain. I half walked half stumbled across the dirt. Soon arriving at a thorn bush, I did what anyone would do: tried to go through it. But, my hind leg got stuck. Crimson blood started to drip down my yellow fur. Fur ripped off my leg, and skin came too. More blood and more pain. Finallly, my leg came out. Bloody and prone to infection, I wrapped a red bandana around my leg.

Pyro lives with his mother, his owner Nicole, and his new room mate Ice Pop. They all live in a small cottage in the middle of the an apple orchard, with some blackberry bushes surrounding the small clearing they live in. The cottage has a straw roof, brick walls, and vines growing up the side of it. Pyro spends most of his days in the house, playing with the fire in the fire-place, and experimenting with fire. Ice Pop usually goes out into the orchard, trying to get away with Ray and his fire. Nicole is 16, and owns a small business in the city. She seems young for a job, but she has to keep her family (Pyro, his mother, and Ice Pop.) alive. Ray loves to give Nicole rides around the forest. He is big, and strong, enough for Nicole to ride.

Ray is a fun-loving, family orientated dragon, always trying to make you smile. He is sort of a prankster, but makes sure never to go to far. He jokes around, sometimes way to much. He will make silly faces, and sometimes goof off during homework. He always tries to cheer up other if they are sad, and usually succeeds.

Ray is the kind of dragon that is cool with pretty much anything. He goes along with most things, good, or bad. Sometimes he can be a little to cool, and say, "Oh, that's due on Thursday, I have plenty of time. I'll start it in 2 days. No worries." He stays calm, cool, and collected most of the time.

Ray is quite the Pyromaniac, which is someone with a love for fire. He is so obsessed, that if a movie has one little flame, it instantly becomes a favorite. He loves to play with fire, and make fire and such. He believes that fire can tell his future, so he sometimes stares into fire, watching the flames fliker back and fourth. It relaxes him.

Ray is such a romantic. But he doesn't want to rush his love, or it wont turn out as great as he thought. He has his eye on one girl, but of coarse, his shyness makes him unable to talk to her. If he wasn't so shy, he would write her poems, send her flowers, all that kind of stuff.

Ray really isn't shy, overall. But he definitely is around girls. He stutters, blushes, and almost always tries to hide his face. He always gets so embarrassed, his face turns bright red. He can't really help it, it's just the was he was born.

I looked into the orange, flickering, light, burning on top of the white candle. "What is it?" I said, looking up at my mother. "That, my son, is fire. It brings hope, for when the winters are over, the ball of fire in the sky will warm our side of the Earth, bringing warmth to us again. Ands all things we need. Bugs will come out of hiding, fruits will grow, and the lake will melt. Yes, fire, brings us light, but also so much more." she replied. "It's so beautiful." I wispered, as the small flame reflected in my eyes. I reached my paw out, and stuck it in the fire. "O-o-o-owwww! It burns!" I screamed, pulling my scorched paw from the fire, and stuffing it in my mouth. "Yes, fire is hot...Now are you OK? You burned yourself quite a bit now...Here, put this on it." my mother handed me a red cloth, and I wrapped it around my paw. "I'm fine...Nothing can hurt me!" I said with a small smile. "Oh, you." she said, slightly nudging me on the shoulder. "I'm gunna keep this cloth forever, because it reminds me of fire!" I said with a beaming smile.
"I have decided what to name you, son." my mother said, on a bright spring morning, when I had turned one month old. "You have a great love of fire, so I shall name you Pyro, meaning fire." "ooh, what a wonderful name! I do love fire! And now my name actually means fire!" I said with joy, gleaming at my mother. Finally, I have my very own name...
Teen Years
Mom, I know, don't play with the fire...." Yeah, whatever, I don't care. I won't get burnt. I thought, looking back into the fireplace in our small home. "Pyro! What did I tell you! You'll burn Nicole's house down!" My mother scrambled over to me, quickly putting out the fire with a pot full of water. "No I won't! Come on, you don't have to worry about everything...Come on, cheer up!" I replied, trying to make her feel less stressed. "How can I cheer up, when Nicole is coming home from the store in 10 minutes?! Look at all this charcole on the floor!" she said, still worried. "Don't worry, I'll clean it up in five minutes..." I replied cooly. "Pyro, you will clean it up now. Or no more using matches for a MONTH. Now I'm going to leave the room, and if you aren't done in five minutes, your in for some trouble." "What? A month?! You can't do that!" I whined. "Watch me." My mother said, stalking into the other room.
Done...Finally... I thought as I swept up the last of the charcole. My mother came back into the room. "Pretty good job." she said, "It could be better." my mother finished. Just then, Nicole walked in the door. "Hey Ray, buddy! Wow, no mess this time huh? Good." she said, teasingly. "Heh, nope." I replied with a smile. "Now, let's go outside and have some fun!" Nicole said, putting her bags down and walking outside, into the forest we live in.

I am not in a real rush to find love. I will know who she is when I see her. I don't want to take the first chance at love the world has to offer, it might end up baddly. Say one JBD likes me, and I might be so desperate to take that. But then my true love may come along, and she likes me, but I am already taken. Not that I don't have my eye on any females. I do admire one of them, but she wouldn't ever notice me. Heck, so many other guys love her so much that I probably won't even have a slim
chance at winning her heart. But she is not a prize to win. She, is beautiful Ambersweet. Oh, Ambersweet, with her sparkling crystal clear, blue eyes. The fiery swirls of sunset, that seems to melt the snowy white of her pelt. The fire of her markings melts my heart. Her shy, but sweet personality is so wonderful, I love girls like that. I won't do any silly stuff, like send her love poems, or songs. If she loves me back, she will come to me.
