Wow, Maz. Just Wow.
In the applications of other people here, it's just "Wow Maz, Another beautiful Equid. I have been Wanting one forever but never been successful blah blah blah" or "I don't have one yet and she's perfect". Yah, but don't we all want one? And the only reason we are applying is because we think she's perfect, right? But how many users can actually say what I can. A long time ago, I had a horse. Her name was Whispering Calls, and I visited her almost every day I had off from soccer or track. Even though she her stable was pretty far, I had my mom drop me off halfway there and I would run the rest of the way just to see her. She was beautiful, a pale golden yellow with white mane, tail, and socks(that's what I call them XD). I loved her so much <333 I would whistle for her and she would come galloping towards me. She was tired when she got there, but I whispered in her ears to calm her. Whispering Calls for her to calm. Man, I loved that horse and everything she had. I would do anything to see her again. But time passed and my dads job made him transfer, to a city life where really no horses roamed. I cried for hours, days, months. Nothing seemed to soothe me. I wasn't really popular, and none of my friends had the time nor money to keep her, so we had to sell her. I interviewed possible buyers before letting them test ride her, and after days and days of searching for good owners, I found one. She was 14 and very talented in riding. She too noticed how much Whisper liked to be whispered to, and did it constantly. She often came to visit Whisper, and I grew to know her as a friend. She was nice and I let her have Whisper. She let me ride her when I went back to visit home. It was amazing. Better than any present, amount of money. Because nobody else would get that feeling of riding Whisper again.
Lol, may sound stupid or cheesy; but true. I miss Whisper but would love to have this reminder of her <3 great job, Maz <33 But you haven't heard the last of me yet! XD
As a lot of my friends know{{all are not currently users in CS}} that I have been born and raised 100% horse crazy. Now really, I don't know WHERE it came from, because my mom and dad never ever owned a horse or took lessons on how to ride. But I loved all of that. This reminder of Whisper is driving me more horse - crazy, so you know what that means! Every day there will be more art in little Whispers gallery. I will order art for her too, and maybe enter her in some roleplays so she could meet new friends and aquantinces. She would have a huge history written about her, and maybe some small random stories to go aloh with that! I love to write, so she would be spoiled. A lot. <33 she would be my second most valuable character{{only aside from my fursona which I sort of wish she could be}} and I would make her magically happy <333 SHE WANTS TO COME HOME WITH MEH MAZ!! Reason for applying: Why wouldn't I want to apply for this amazing mare? She's absoloutly stunning in every way. I've actually been stalking this thread for a while, meaning something like five days, so long, right? But was afraid of the "art" section. I don't know why, but I thought that it had to be drawn in Oekaki, but I can't draw there. But then I realized that it doesn't need to be Oekaki and I wanted to try out for her. I'm a horse crazy little maniac, but since I live by a city, I can't own any horses or ponies, which kills me. Every time we go somewhere remotely rural, I tell my parents that I really want to go horse back riding. When my mom asks "What do you want to do" that is my instant reply. This little sweetheart litterally popped out at me, screamed "Look over here!" and went into the screen again. This would be my first WME, both that I've tried out for and if I'd won her, she'd just be my first, but I'm not counting on that. Don't count your chickens before they hatch, right? I'm glad I could finally try for one, and may the odds be ever in your favor, to the one who wins. :3

Name: If I were to own this beautiful girl I would call her Azure, both for her stunning eyes and because the name seems pretty and strong at the same time--a lot like Azure herself.

Reason for applying: Oh, Maz, where do I even start? I've never been interested in WME before this one. They were always just well designed horse-like creatures that everybody seemed to love and I never really understood. This Equid helped me get why so many people love the species. Azure is beautiful, poignant, almost touching in her quiet grace. This is the only adoptable, ANY species, that I would feel comfortable calling art.
Allow me my girlish fantasy, Maz. Can't you just see this Equid in the snow-peaked mountain tops, peeking around the edge of a tree with a rambunctious smile on her face? The sun glittering in her mane, her hooves poised daintily against the soil--she's beautiful. Another Equid, any Equid, comes out and taunts her to play. She skitters out from her hiding place and leaps joyfully past her friend, her body aloft on a mountain breeze. She's elegant, innocent, truly gorgeous in every way. How, considering my psyche and love of horses, could I say no to that daydream?
I love horses. Really, just look at my signature/avatar and you'll be told all you need to know. Azure symbolizes the horse I have never owned, the horse I can never meet outside my own head. She is my dream, my perfection, my ideal in a real life equine. Every rider wants to meet a horse like Azure. That's another reason why I would be honored to own her--because of what she embodies to me, and what she makes me think of after just one look.

Azure is also meticulously designed. Even under the obvious brindled stripes she has a gradient of buttercream yellow, splotches and patches of that in the undermath of her coat. The mane includes the best of both the base color and the stripes, a subtle nod to the rest of her design. I love and appreciate art, even if I'm not very good at it, and I value Azure all the more for her great artistic merit.
If I were to own Azure, she would be loved and cherished every day. As you can see from my art below, I do have the basic ability to draw her and that I would! I adore doing WME's (or at least I do based off this one try) and she would be the one and only recipient of that adoration. I am also participating in something called NanoWrimo come November, which essentially means I'm writing a 50,000 word novel in one month. I've decided I want that to be about my main charries, and the instant I looked at Azure I knew that she (should I be fortunate enough to own her) would have one of the starring roles. I wouldn't let a day go by without something new happening in Azure's life--I'm prepared to learn to role-play for her, write about her constantly, draw her as much as possible, and daydream...when do I ever stop daydreaming about what I love?
If you were to let Azure come and live with me, Maz, I would never let you regret it. Azure would be loved, for all the reasons stated above, and with every word I type it becomes more and more important (on very personal levels) that she become mine. I hope you will at least consider this form when judging for who gets to own this beautiful creation, and I hope that your choice reflects the true beauty of this Equid.

Reason for applying: I have quietly admired the Wild Mountain Equid species and their designs from afar, but have sadly never had the opportunity to apply for one as the adoption options were far and few between at the time.
Now that that has changed, there is no way I could not apply for this gorgeous design and as it were, I would desperately like to become a part of the community that has formed since their creation.
