What is a Jellybean Dragon?
A Jellybean Dragon is a fluffy, friendly dragon that hatches from a jellybean-like egg. Their diet consists of fruits and insects, but they also love sweets and desserts. Their fur is soft and long, usually brightly colored and it's always neat and shiny. Jellybean Dragons are gentle and happy, and love attention. Most are Great Dane-sized when they are fully grown, but some of them can grow as big as a cow. All Jellybean Dragons have pouches on their bellies, which they use to carry around food or younger JBDs.

Well, here's my final JBD! She's a pirate theme, the thunder strikes show the fierceness of a storm, her tail shows a map to the hidden treasure, and she's even wearing an eye patch! She also has a little ship charm on her tail, and the big thing; she has her own personal guitar! Cool, huh?

Since I love her a lot, I'll expect good quality forms. When I judge, I'm looking for effort, personality in the story, interesting history, short and brief likes & dislikes, expression in the art(or this JBD playing out a scene in the story/history), and a descriptive personality. Put your best effort into the story and personality, they're worth the most. While making your art, you may change the guitars colors, but keep it at the basic dark brown for the body and lighter brown for the string part. Why you want, likes dislikes favorites and art are all optional but give you a pretty big boost. :)

I've been looking for an awesome JBD to adopt, and I think this might be the one. Y'know, unless I'm wrong.. She's totally beautiful, and I lurve her tail design! Go pirates!!!
History
Maru was born an only child. She was very lonely and loved to read. She eventually gained a liking to pirates, and to this day, is working to try to be one. Here is how she got her eyepatch:
"MAN OVERBOARD!!!!!" Maru screeched as her friend, Neve(Belongs to my sister, MosshadowFeathertail), fell off the side of their "pirate ship" which was actually just a little rowboat."Help me!!" Neve yelled, and both girls giggled as Maru pulled her back onto the boat. Neve shook her fur out, with little droplets of water spraying everywhere. Maru turned her head to try to stay out of the water, and she say something on the horizon. "Hey, what's that?" she whispered. "What's what?" her mint-colored companion answered. "That gray thing over there. I wonder what it is?" Maru jumped out of their boat, and swam toward the "thing". "NO!"Neve yelled."Come back!! It might be dangerous!" Maru scoffed."I'll be right back!" Neve was SO overprotective! The young dragon hesitantly approached the mysterious thing, and a starnge roaring sound ripped the calm sound of lapping waves. "AHH!" Maru screamed in suprise. Long, black tentacles reached out of the water, and grabbed her."Help!! Help me Neve!!" Her friend immediatley turned the boat in their direction, speeding toward them at bullet-fast speed. "I'm coming in hot!! Watch out!" she warned, and hit a tentacle square in the middle. The sea monster screeched in pain, and began squeezing Maru even harder. "Oh no!" Neve mumbled. She swam into the crystal blue water, hoping to save her friend. Maru 's breathing became heavier and heavier as Neve attacked the monster from under water. Eventually, the victim blacked out.

"Hey, wake up. You're safe now." A calming voice stirred her from her sleep. The first thing she noticed upon awakening, is that there was a big blank spot where one of her eyes used to be. "AHH!" Maru yelled. "WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!" Neve sighed. "When I finally got you out of the sea monster's grip, that side of your face was torn up pretty badly. You lost your eye, and...well...you now have an eyepatch." Maru's good eye teared up and Neve put her paw on her shoulder. "Hey, look at the bright side! We proved sea monsters are real, AND you look more like a real pirate!" she giggled. Maru grinned at her friend. "Yeah, and if the trend continues, I'll have a peg-leg and a hook!" she joked. "Yeah, someday we'll be REAL pirates, I swear!" she promised.
Personality:
She's very sassy and stubborn, and also a bit of a drama queen if she doesn't get what she wants. She longs for adventures, and wants to be an actual pirate herself. She enjoys reading about pirates; the history, their boats, anything. If you ask her a question like, "What is Blackbeard's real name?", she'd answer it in a heartbeat(Which, BTW, was Edward Teach.). Whe she meets strangers, she can be fierce at times, but is more likely to be friendly and outgoing. If you manage to become really REALLY good friends with her, then you've got yourself a loyal, steadfast friend. She is very easy to trust someone, and if you break her trust, she'll give you one chance to make it up to her. She loves to entertain people, especially playing her guitar.

Story:
A young dragon walked along the shores of her beach and finally reached her red X, where she kept her "treasures". She grinned to herself, thinking "I'm gonna be the BEST pirate ever one day!!" Suddenly, another dragon approached her. "Who the heck are YOOU? Huh? You wanna try and take my loot? Well, we'll see about that!!" The other dragon shook her head. "No, no!! Of course I don't want your "treasure"! I just moved here, and I wanted to explore. That's all. And by the way, I'm Neve." she finished. Maru twitched. What is she's trying to TRICK me? Well then I'LL trick HER back!! "So.. "Neve", you wanna make friends, huh? Well, why don't you join my pirate crew? You'll be the first!" Maru beamed. She isn't likely to turn this offer down!! Ha-ha! Neve looked confused. Suddenly, she grinned, ear-to-ear. "That would be cool!! What's your name?" Maru smirked. "Why, I'm the horribly frightening terror of the seven seas! The amazing Captain Maru Tomlinson!! All shall bow when they hear my legendary name, or face the wrath that is me!! Ha-ha-ha!!" And for good measure, she whipped out her wooden sword and slashed it around a bit. Neve looked amazed, and Maru grew more prideful. The Neve's grin dropped, and Maru raised her eyebrow in anger. "Well? What's the matter?" she challenged. Neve looked to the ground. "I didn't mean to anger you, but...Where's you boat?" Maru looked dumbfounded. "My, my boat? Oh! You must mean the epically awesome Mother-of-Pearl! I'll take you to her then!" They marched along the shoreline untill they approached a small, leaky row boat with the words "Mother of Pearl" painted on the side. "Aye, she's magnificent ain't she?" Maru beamed with pride. She heard a small gasp behind her. "Wow, I the boat really isn't much, no offense, but I think that one day, you could be a for-real pirate! Like, in history books! And all the younger Jellybean Dragons'll want to be you!" Neve spilled out all her thoughts, and Maru turned to smile warmly at her. "Thanks. We'll be the best ever!" And from that day on, they were best friends forever.
