Why you applied: There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.
~Winston Churchill“Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way.”
Les Brown quotes (American Author, Entrepreneur and motivational speaker)I chose these two quotes because they really seem to fit the reason of 'Why I applied'. There's going to be countless forms for this stunning and not to mention rare Equid, but even being a part of the flow of the forms makes me at least feel good that I'm trying. This might seem like a useless question to people who have "no words to describe their love for this WME", but..um, Maz needs some answers. So, that brings me to my lovely little answer to this question. To put it simply, I absolutely treasure her design. But, thats the only thing that would bring most people to this gorgeous Quagga, her physical looks. This was different for me.
The moment I saw, who soon was to be 'temporary' (since I dont own her) Naheiru, my mind raced with possible personality traits, stories, her past, and what kind of friends she had, people to order art from, and possibly a good roleplay to enter her in. After seeing this lovely girl, I went on an critique RAMPAGE; looking at artshop after artshop, trying to find art suitable and qualified enough for her. Sadly, no one such as Lilian Nighshade, wibeke, or Spotty was open to give me crit+tips on my horse art. Oh gosh I'm getting off track, anyway, so, the reason I'm trying out for this beauty is because I finally found a WME that made me jump out of my chair and pretend to be a cheerleader (XD, I know) and really makes me gasp in awe.. (and maybe do a few highkicks, seriously, no exaggeration..) every time I see her.
To truelly love something is to understand it as well. Quaggas have always been my favorite breed of horse, though, once I realized of their extinction in 1883, I found a new desirable love for them. I never truelly found a perfect horse character for chickensmoothie, as I always had extremely high expectations and none I found were Quagga or had a Quagga based resemblence. This troubled me and I have since been looking for one of the gorgeous breeds to keep as a treasured character. When playing horse based CS games with my friends in real life, I was always forced to use Sparta, my rainbowmane, or a made up Quagga (though, many of my friends knew nothing about the breed, much less of it's appearence). I never had an actual Quag to call my own.
If I were to win this stunning girl, she would always have some cacti to nibble on, weekly arts, and no shortage of love. Though without much effort I fail at drawing horses, she would never ever be neglected or pushed under a pile. My friend Boots and I have always fancied the WME and have been stalking for quite some time now, I think about 3 months or so. In total I've seen one that I liked, but, not enough to try out for. Though, I've tried out for other adoptables on centers such as Jellybean Dragons, but never have I wanted an adoptable as much as I long to have this Quagga.
If on June 7th I am the new owner of Nahuiru, there will be no end to her stories, both on chickensmoothie and out in the real world. My imagination tends to run wild with made-up creatures, so you best not worry about her condition after adoption with me. I also, once I get a new character I truely love and adore, I tend to order crap loads of art of her/him <3 So there will be no shortage of pieces in her gallery. Not to mention, for each of my adoptables (which I have none yet, I'm very picky lol xD) I make a special page. So, like the talented Chasing Dreams over here, I will be making a new topic for her as well.
I love the mixture of designs her body brings. The zebra, flashy markings versus the plain jane shades that contrast EPICLEY (epicley? wait-what?) together. I've actually always fancied the "zebra" based WMEs. I find them to be the most flattering, for their almost unusual patterns. I've fallen in love with this Quagga WME, inside
and out C: I'm already jumping up in my seat, awaiting June 7th!!
