Reason for applying: I've always wanted a WME ever since they came out. I have always been meaning to get one but I found that I never had the time to apply for one or the right one that I wanted. I saw this and I thought "Now is the time! She is so beautiful! I should go for her." She reminds me of my friends horse, she is just so beautiful.

I'm so excited for judging to begin! Every day I have to hurry on and assure myself it isn't judging day or to make sure it is in fact June first, making sure I didn't have a mind lapse and forget or something. /pointless rambling.

But I do have a question, are we allowed multiple prices of art? If so expect more from me, and if not is it allowed to make a new piece and enter with it instead, removing the old art. Whoa run on sentence much? Anywho yea..

I would name her Sundara. My reasoning for this is because in a book I am reading for English (Children of the River), the main character's name is Sundara. The book's about people from Cambodia who come to America for a better life, to escape communists and the war where they live. I was debating on whether to name her Sundara, Soka, or Valinn (all names from this book that I absolutely love ^^). I looked up the meaning of Sundara, and in Japenese, it means "beautiful." Not knowing this, I knew it was a perfect name for this gorgeous equid ^^

Where to begin..... well, when I first saw this mare I instantly knew I wanted to adopt her. However, I didn't like how I was rushing to adopt equids; I thought I should wait and only apply for equids I absolutely loved. I don't know why I didn't apply for her earlier, because I have not yet found an equid (apart from the ones I already own ^^) that I love as much. Her design is beautiful; the dark gray with the white, different shades of grey and yellow "highlights" of on her mane. I'm also applying, not only because I love her markings, designs, and colors, but because she will be a challange to get. Most equids, well, some, are First Come First Serve and anyone can adopt thme. Others you have to answer question. And although I do apply for equids with forms like these (well, of course I would), it's more challenging and more difficult to adopt equids that you need art for. Doing this; filling out questions that require more thinking and making art really makes you realize how much you want an equid. And lastly, my overall plan was to adopt at least one equid from each artist. I have none from either you, Maz, nor Horsy. It is clear all you Equid artists have a different style, so I had wanted a variety of patterns, brindling, colors, and designs in my Equid herd. Apart from this 3 obvious reasons, there are other factors thrown in there of why I applied for this Steel Grey mare. However, I'm not sure how to word them and they're insignificant compared to my other main reasons for applying. ^^

Reason for applying: Despite the simplicity of this gorgeous mare's design, I still find her mildly complicated - a factor that I adore. The reason being is because her base coat is dark while her eyes are a vibrant red, in which behind these bright pools I feel that there's a lot more to the mare than what other's may believe is a mere riddle of darkness. From this, I would love to have the privilege to make her a more in depth character while practising my equine/equid drawing skills.
