Answer: I would keep him in a field because he would be way too cooped up in a stable. Although, maybe at night I would let him come in and rest in a stable. I would never force my equid to keep those restless, long legs to stay in a small little enclosed area for his whole life. But instead, that would only be where he slept and the rest of his life would be running out among a large, seemingly endless field.
