Fullname;Otto B. Kumey
Kumey, pronounced k-UE-MEE, was originated from his grandfather who lived in a tea store. Otto, pronounced AWH-TOE is from Germany, meaning 'wealth'. Otto was named after his coloring, which, to me just represent the letter 'o'. I feel his name, Otto, kind of is a 'cooler' name. Not live and bright like most JBD colors and names. Otto is unique in that way, he has darker colors. Most JBDs tend to hide or even keep their flaws from showing, unlike this dragon, who accepts them and, you know what? Doesnt care. I searched a while before finding the perfect name for this little guy.
Nickname;Otz & Otie
Everyone needs a nickname, whether they like it or not. c: Otto preferes to be called Otto or Otz, but sometimes, just sometimes he lets the girlish seeming 'Otie' pass. Otz, pronounced "AWH-T-ZZ" and Otie, pronounced "AWH-T-EE" are common nicknames Otto has lived with his whole life. Female JBDs are more likely to be seen calling out Otie! Unlike Otto's friends who prefer Otz, since it sounds like Ox. Ohhhh yaaaaah c;
Gender;Male
You, Ash, chose him to be male and I totttalllly support it! He seems like a perfect male Jellybean Dragon (not to get cheesey or anything XD) His design boastes more to a male than female. Truthfully, I would have chosen him to be a boy anyway, regardless of the freedom to decide gender. But anyway, yes, he's a boy, male, niño, etc. ^^
Size;A Great Dane Sized JBD
Yes, Otto is an adult. He may not be the biggest Jellybean in the pack, but who says big is better? (XD) Otto sometimes feels selfconcious about his weight and size, but tries not to let it put him down. Many a time his buddies have lightly jeered at him for being smaller than the biggest or weighing only about 140, instead of the standard cow size.Otto tries to find things that are pros to his weight, meaning, being the biggest wont be the best, if not even good. Being smaller for an adult JBD is a blessing and a, some may say, a curse. He has many advantages at his size but faces obstacles as well. It balances him out.
Age;Adult
Otto enjoys being an adult JBD, he has total freedom and can do whatever he wants whenever...though that sometimes isnt the best. ^^"
Personality;Overview
If someone was to describe Otto in one word, this word would most entirely fall onto 'mysterious'. It even sounds like the definition, secretive, quiet, etc. People wonder about Otto, when they first see him and he neglects the warm welcome most JBDs bring about when a new meeting is in process. Otto declares himself mysterious as well. He's not a social butterfly, not needing the comforts of a big group of buddies. Only close ones. Ones that have spent the time and effort to really get to know him, even if the process is rigorously slow. That being said, Otto is a bit judgemental of people and is uncomfortable in seas of unknown dragons and people. Though, this boy loves to have fun with his tight knit friends and really creates long lasting relashionships with them. Otto really has two different sides of him, which, I'd really like to emphasize. He has his shy, mysterious, and sometimes judgmental side, and then he's got his personal, enjoyable, and imaginative side of the puzzle.
•Mysterious
apparently being the #1 trait of Otz, he keeps in his shadows until someone approaches him, wanting to get to know him. other JBDs and people become very curious of Otto for his shy and concealed behavior acts like a alarm turning beings heads in surprise at his 'poker face' attitude. Otto is not stuck up, just shy in that way. he prefers for someone to come up to him rather than himself forced to confront another. Otto often has people or other JBDs come upon him to ask him questions, or try and start a conversation, obviously eager to try and learn more about him. Otto, truthfully, tries to avoid these awkward conversations, for finds them rude and controlling. which, brings me to Otto's next trait.
•Personal
another spot on trait. as you know, Otto is much more of a silver friend circle type JBD. meaning, he keeps the old friends (silver) and doesnt usually make many new friends (gold). he's also not a very 'quick convo' practiser. this JBD likes rather to have deep, meaningful conversations versus those "hey wassup, nothing, cool" type meetings. he prefers releshionships to be personal and deep, really getting into the topic and "digging deeper" as your teacher may say. he, like mentioned above in the 'mysterious' section of the personality, with much effort tried to avade those awkward conversations, or small talk, as you and I call it, with people that will just walk up to him at a party or even on the street. Otto usually says a few words before his mother calls him or he just has to go to the bathroom. either way, whichever situation he's in, he usually gets out of it pretty quick.
•Commutative
Otto is very much a conversational type guy. only with his closer friends and family, but he really does love to chat. sometimes, he'll be so involved with his part of the conversation, others will be lost at the first couple of sentences. Otto is just so deeply into the convo, he excludes the neglection of the other person/JBD he's "talking with". though, very often in most of the conversations, both people/JBDs will be in line with the 'sation, giving Otto the full extended feeling. though, this trait extends. Otto hates those conversations that just die after three words such as the repetative; "hey" "hi" "wassup" "nothin" type drags. he most enjoys chatting about ideas. new, strange, magical, theory ideas that just grow in his mind until needing to pop out of the dirt.
•Imaginative
from the core of Otto's brain, he loves to induldge himself in his imaginative side. writing plays, telling and making up wild stories, conjuring up forever ongoing games to play, and not to mention always turning something into a quest of some sort. Otto most enjoys making up those wild games of his, that always, always, must be continued next time. never are they just a one time game, like most, but one that you'll try to play over and over again, trying to capture that wonderous feeling that occured when you first expirianced the game. onto visual arts, his plays simply scream, "unique". Otto digs to the very depth of his mind to create these minor masterpieces. those who watch the town performances may have drastic change in emotion, as their once smiley face turns into a blubbery mess of tears, or possibly clenched fists of anger. these kind of feelings also occure in Otto's bewildering stories. twists and turns at every breaking point. emotions flow wild, and there's no limits to the characters and plot.
•Intelligent
after pondering every possibly answer and digging deeper into every theory, Otto has gained much knowledge in the 'ways of the world'. though he doesn't mean to, you can often find Otto casually analyzing a common lawn flower or questioning one of his friend's ideas with the pros and cons of each transaction. though, this trait isn't just a wall flower, it's one of Otto's most boastful descriptors. it goes far and beyond. he is definitely smart in an academic way, but most more in a quizzical way. a theoriatrical way. Otto enjoys bringing the "educational" way into problems. entering pros and cons really open up ways for him, making those kinds of lists help him make big and small decisions. though, switching over sides, Otto has a small jolt of above average JBDGPA (jellybean dragon GPA), so he is glad to help close friends with academic tricksters. truthfully though, he enjoys much more to assist people in theoriatrical problems.
•Unassertive
More simply put, 'shy'. as you know, this JBD is very shy, painfully if you may. he may be laughing and pulling stunts all morning but the minute he steps out of his comfort zone and into the public world, he's a eye-contact-avoider mute.

Why Do I want this JBD;Overview
*takes a deep breath* Where to start? From the beginning I suppose. Well, about a couple months ago I started getting into characters, you know, getting them art, writing a profile, etc. I was browsing "Adoptable Pets" and came across the Jelly Bean Dragon homepage. I immediately fell in love with the species, promising to stalk in my head, but forgot about it for a while. Then, about a month ago I was just browsing my posts when I came across it yet again. I excitedly browsed through the adoptables only to find my favorited had already been adopted. I once again promised to stalk. hehe...yah...you know what came next. I got busy and well, forgot up until a couple weeks ago. At first sight I fell in love with Otto, but wasnt sure, because I was afraid of losing him like I lost Dewey, named Seven owned by AprilShowers. After coming back to admire his mysterious design again and again I finally pulled up the guts to try out. I wanted to win him more than anything that moment. his design just, ahg! It's so unique you know? Ash, you did a great job desiging it. He's very much different from other JBDs. He shows the other side, the darker more mysterious side that ever being on Earth has. But for Otto, you have to look furthur. Past the darker colors and scattered lines. Thats why I want him, he's so..real. Someone you really need to want to know and try hard to become their friend.

Digging DeeperOtto's Art Gallery
by: Stripey
this one, a quieter one, comes to me in his sea of people attitude. the mood that he gets when he's surrounded by other JBDs or people. this is him trying to be a wall flower, blending in, trying not to attract attention to himself to avoid the unessicary conversation.
by: Stripey
this one, I like to think, is one that portrays a side of Otto that isnt that shy mysterious JBD, or the imaginative dragon, but the one that really lives within Otto. this is the time when he's alone, free to do and act as he pleases.
by: Stripey
from knowing that Otto has two sides, I guess you could say this is the half of "crazyfunimaginative" ness.. ^^" having most of his pictures be more shy and quiet, I thought one like this would bring some color into his gallery. oh, and shading idea (c) to the ever so wonderful -kiley- <3

from reading Otto's personality and likes, you know by fact that he is very curious, or in more depth, quizzical. this picture obviously gives you that feel to it? Otto could be thinking about anything in this picture, sometimes it's fun to try and guess or even make up a little story to go along with it ^^
by: Mettalic Dragon
the story behind this art relates back to Otto's shy, but kind personality. in this picture I feel he best portrays those traits with the small smile, kind, selfless eyes, and the position thats almost leaning back from what might be ahead.
by: FangOverFang
this piece of work I would say best represents the metophorical fact of when Otto is scared of meeting new people, of trying to run away or get away from those monsters of new, different things. though this picture is on a much larger scale, I feel like the descriptors would fall into this art immensley.

CHEESE. if you couldnt tell. Otto's favorite, and though simple, favorite food. cheese. good ol' chedder cheese. what more can you say? this is a picture of Otto munching on some yumbree chedder. though he looks irritant, dont worry, the cheese will cheer him right up. {word count of the word cheese in this paragraph: 6} mmmmMhmmmm.

what do you think when you first see this picture? adorable? cutie? sure, sure, well, thats all in place. after all, this is a jellybean dragon, correct? but, I tend to look more into the emotion of the picture. so, for instence, in this picture, I look at his eyes. the curved inward eye brows give him a shy, timid look. which, coinsidently, works perfectly for Otto here.

Favorite Food
Cheddar Cheese
forever and always, that good old sharp cheddar cheese, wether orange or white, will always be this JBD's favorite food. now looking back, Otto finds it mind boggaling that he once despiced this common dairy product. when Otto first tried cheddar, he found it iiickyy and immidietely spit it out. then, one day, he tried it again, in a kiesh. ooooh boy, thats when it hit. after asking what type of cheese was in the kiesh, it, right then and there, became his favorite food. cheddar cheese <3
yumyumyum
Other Favorite Food
Stir Fry- (minus the meat) the jumble of different tastes when they hit your tongue is like a tasty wake up call to Otto. he loves all the brightly colored veggies and berries, they just look so perfect on the plate. mix it up with so rice and you've got yourself a done deal!
