Thank you >.< There's no use in complaining. This is the harsh reality of life. Someone is gonna win, and others that don't win should be sore losers about it. There's no need in making Birch feel bad! That's putting more stress on her, and I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't like to have people complaining to me for not winning and blaming things on me.

-sigh- I'm judging the people who I've picked on there words and songs, because I liked their pets and haikus.

So I liked half their form, now to judge the other half.

If this will make people less upset, I will make another Sabino :C

Hmmmm I was bored and decided to scroll through the equids and see what was happening with this mare. And as someone who didn't enter -since I think its silly for the people who entered to argue, especially since its mostly the people who made it to the next round complaining against the "sore losers"- I felt I may as well get my two cents in

So here goes;
Basically I can feel the pain of those who didn't make it, it does seem slightly unfair to only judge one part of the forms, since some people are better at certain things than others, and as someone pointed out, the haiku and pet could be awesome, but then the next two parts be terrible. So to me it just seems a slightly inefficient way of judging. That being said, Birch made this equid and has the final say in how judging works. So giving her grief over it isn't helping anyone, it isn't fair anymore to re-do the contest or add another aspect to it etc.

Personally I'd just take this whole event as an educational happening, and make sure it doesn't occur in the future Maybe have it be two parts? Round one everyone writes a haiku and dresses up pets, and then round two they pick a theme song and a word? Or something like that, and for the first round assign everyone a percentage:

Billy 50% Great haiku, not so great pet
Bob 70% Good haiku, very good pet
Danny 85% Great haiku and adorable pet

Then in the second round you give them a percentage for the word and theme song:

Billy 80 % Cool theme song, awesome word
Bob 20% Song didn't fit, word was fairly common
Danny 30 % Okay song and okay word

Then add up the two percentages, divide by 100 and whoever has the highest number wins. I think it makes the judging a little more fair, but thats just my opinion. So then it would be:

Billy 1.3
Bob 0.9
Danny 1.15

So Billy would have won.
Yup, just an idea, would prevent this from happening in the future though I think, can't really argue with a judging method like this, even though its a little more complicated then some. It does break up the judging process into two parts though, which is good for everyone I think. Contestants can focus more on each aspect, and the person judging can have more time to judge since only two things are judged per round.

I have to add my part to this. I'm extremely upset now, because it was not put anywhere on the form that we had to have our own haiku, and you didn't tell us how you were going to judge. Why judge a part of the form and then narrow it down? The rest of the form might be total crap. I didn't look at the links of who got through the 'first' round, but I'm just saying. Nobody is great at everything.

It doesn't matter how I judge, I'm pretty sure the person who wins her would be the same in the end. I only judged this way because I found it easier, and most of the forms we're not in the correct format.

I know not everyone is good at everything. I only did this because Some people are better at art than others, and people don't understand the concept of my limit to stories, so I thought I'd spazz it up and do random things!

Ya know, I'm unhappy that anyone should be upset, and Royal, you don't have to hide your feelings,and I did tell people to not get too attached! I will make more, To make up for it -sigh- and work my butt off even more just to please everyone. and I know y'all probably don't want another equid, you want her right? Well, all I have to say to that, is Life sucks. and when it does find a better half of it, because if you don't, you won't be a very happy and you'll end up with bad grudges and all the little things in life.

So I apologize that I can't make all of you happy, but I will do my best to make that better.
