NameSam
PersonalitySam is your all out counrty boy. He talks with that southern accent you often find in Texas and loves rodeos. You can rarley find him clean and hes a lady's man. His lives life with gusto and never forgets to care for the horses. Hes always listening to music and you often catch him dancing. He always has his Ipod and headphones. That and his choice in music is the only thing that doesnt reflect his counrty attitude. Youll often find him laying on his back in the cornfield, singing loudly and watching the clouds roll by. He dreams of love and home-made apple pie, every girl's sweet-talking dream boy. He seems to be very hesitant in opening up though. Sam can shoot up trees like a bullet. Hes always getting the plume of his tail stuck in things but usually holds it high over his back. Hes sensitive to abuse and bad-mouthing and wont let anyone get away with it, unless its him thats being bullied. Sam would never dream of leaving his home for extended periods of time but he has always wanted to go to England.

Story Sam's pastel blue eyes blinked in wonder at the net of stars above his head. They stretched endlessly in either direction and twinkled in the deep blue of the night sky. Sam's cream coat was ruffled and untidy, as he had been working most of the day, and his yellow back was speckled with dirt and topsoil. He jumped and swiveled his head around as a loud crashing came from a few yards to his right. Quietly, his practiced paws not nudging any corn husks, he moved like a ghost toward the sound. If someone was tresspassing in his owner's fields she'd want to know.
Turning the corner, her saw two other dragons. They were giggling, which indicated they were girls, and snuffling through the dirt. Sam moved up behind them and sat down. He stayed there for quite a while before speaking. "Y'all aren't very quiet now are yas." The girls spun on their heels and squealed when they came nose to nose with Sam. Scrambling backwards, one fell while the other tripped over her tail and face-planted into the dust. Sam laughed at the scene and the bigger dragon stared in annoyance at him. "Why'd you go on scarin' us like that?" she whined. " 'Cause yur tresspassin'," Sam replied evenly, trying not to laugh as the smaller dragon attempted to free herself from under her friend and came up spitting out dirt again. "We're lookin' fer our papa," the bigger one replied. Sam assumed they were sisters and she was the older one. Sam remembered the older dragon that had come by today. "What's 'is same?" he asked as they finally untangled themselves from eachother. "Laker," the younger told him. "Ah he was 'ere today,"Sam said, standing up. "I reckon he's probably still at the house. Come un, don't want you wreckin' that corn no more."
The next day, Sam got up with the sun. He hauled a bucket of horse feed to each stall in the barn. Patting each horse on the nose and calling them by name when he filled their troughs. "Maddie. Romeo. Saddle." Once he got to the last stall and finished feeing Pacer, he leapt down onto the floor and put the bucket back. Stepping outside out of the dusty air, he saw a flash of blue in the bushes. He crept closer to investigate, his head low. When he saw what it was he straitened up, partially suprised. "Not so good at camoflauge neither," he sighed. The same two girls he had met yesterday were couched around a peach in the bushes. They stood up and the older one bumped her head on the branches. "Ohhhhh you can't go on blamin' us!" she cryed, coming out into the open. "Our place'es sooooo borin'! You looked like you have a ton o fun 'ere!" "Sure when I'm not
workin'," Sam growled. He could now get a good look at them. The older was turquoise blue with lighter speckles on her neck and face and rings the same color around her tail. Pale green stripes coated her back and the plume of her tail and her eyes were a deep, shining emerald. Her sister was about half the size of her and light purple with blue snow leopard spots all over her, two extra large ones encompassing her brown eyes. "You can't be here," Sam told them. "I 'ave t' work." His owner of course had over-heard from the barn door. "Take the day off Sammy!" she called. "You've worked awful hard latley!" Sam smiled at her. "Thanks, ma'am!" he called. "Come on lemme show you what we do for fun roun' here," he said turning back to the girls. "But first... yer names?" "I'm Tavern," the eldest replied, smiling broadly. "And this here is meh sister, Vanity."
Sam led Tavern and Vanity into the apple orchard. He shot up a tree in a flash and knocked down three perfect apples. "Now you don't 'ave ta steal our peaches," he winked, landing next to them with an 'oof' as he jumped from the tree. The plume of his tail had sticks and branches in it and Vanity amused herself by pulling them out between bites of her juicy red apple. Next they dashed back into the horse barn. Sam brought them up into the hay loft. "See that there pile of loose straws?" he asked, pointing with his muzzle. Before the sisters could respond, Sam was flying through the air. Hay flew everywhere when he landed and Tavern and Vanity peered in wonder over the edge. "Com'on!" Sam called, laughing as his head poked up through the hay. Vanity did a flying leap right into the middle and Tavern was soon to follow.
They laughed until Tavern squealed and wriggled closer to Sam. "Somethin' just touched my foot!" she cryed. Sam blushed at having the pretty dragon practiclly on his lap. "Erm... Lemme see," he said, diving down under the hay. He knew what it was but he didn't want to admit to the girls they had a rat problem because his owner didn't like cats. Sam found himself face to face with a mother rat and her three babies. "Uh oh," he breathed. The mother rat latched onto his ear and he whipped his head trying to shake her off. He succeeded but she took a chunk of his ear with her. Sam scrambled out of the straw pile and pawed at his torn ear. "Owwwww," he growled. "Dumb rats..." The girls followed at a distance as he walked down to the stream to wash his ear off. After it was clean, he had Vanity untie his bandana because he couldn't reach the back and he jumped into the stream. The water splashed onto the girls and they squealed. Soon they were all swimming in the cool water. By the the time the sun started to go down, the three new friends were wet and tired. They sat on the porch with dry towels wrapped around their furry shoulders. Sam's owner brought them some apple pie and they watched the moon rise. Sam was happy, even though his ear hurt and he hated rats more than ever.

Likesapple pie,
music, horses, rodeos, clouds, clear days, jumping from the hayloft into a big pile of hay (i think ill use that in the story somewhere...), non-sappy romance, long hikes, climbing trees, trying to catch salamanders and frogs, swimming
Dislikesbullies, sappy romance (BLLEEEHHK), chickens (they annoy him and honestly, their stupidity kind of freaks him out), highways,
cities Why I want him <3This is the most adorable JBD ive ever seen! His design is simple and sweet and the wheat adds something great I can't describe. I am a total tomboy myself (with a knack for romance) and I think me and Sam could get along really well ;3 I will die if I don't get him. I cant think of anyone I know that would appreciate him more... But who knows. If I don't get him I hope the one that does treats him like royalty! I know I would! I LOVE YOU SAM!!! <3 <3 <3
(I will probably keep editing thhis all the way up to the day its judged Xc i NEED him to SURVIVE)
