The Darkness how did you make that many pups and change the angle and move them

You know the little tabs up in the top left corner? I went up to edit and duplicated the neccessary layers and then I went to drawing tools and went to the top one with the four arrows going in different directions and moved the lines and color around. Then I went to the effects tab and chose 'flip horitonzal' for some.
