Name: Irene. I picked Irene because it is a mysterious and beautiful name, and I feel it really fits this WME. The sound of Irene has, to me, a ring of something sinister behind it, and yet it retains femininity.
Personality: Irene is a trickster, never to be trusted. Half of what she says is lies, and the other half is disguising her real self. She is quite mean, even cruel sometimes, and she is not one for friends or love. Under her deception, Irene is sad and depressed, tired of being restrained, so she hits back with all the force she has. Irene walks a dark and lonely path, but perhaps it is destined to be.
Solitary- Irenen has never preferred the company of others. She has a silent, creepy manner and way of talking that makes it clear that company is unwanted. Irene can also appear slightly mad, she laughs at odd times, at violent things, and often overreacts. When truly upset she will scream and stomp with all her might in a rather childish way.
Vindictive- Irene never plays fair. She does everything on her own terms and holds deep grudges. Her sarcastic smile and harsh, bullying words make her an impossible to beat in an argument. Irene never stands bullying herself, as a quick, violent quarrel settles things. She abuses both the strong and the weak, making her a sort of evil overlord, in a way. She doesn't care about the needy, and can be greedy and cruel.
And yet there's another side of her... Irene doesn't necessarily want to be mean. She's been raised to feel like it's the only answer. Violence is the way to get power, and power earns you respect, someone told her once. She's taken to words dearly to heart- crossed the border of evil and never come back. Irene has had a troubled childhood, and without the cruelty and violence she's been treated with, perhaps she would have come out differently. A sliver of kindness still lingers within her, and her heart can still love. But it loves evil- the coldness of death, and blackness of the night... the smell of blood, and satisfaction of watching an enemy be beaten.
Irene has experienced her fair share of brutality, and received much in return. But this is part of her. Her heart is not black as coal. It is dark as night. And yet a sliver of light shines from within.
