You step towards it's loud sound,
Hearing a hoof paw.

It is mare Tundra,
Her eyes shining in the snow,
Looking wise for age.

The snow wavers, and ends,
She steps to you, being quiet,
And extends her tail.

It moves slowly now,
Being soft and silent as it can,
And nickers, for her sight.

She sees you, and smiles,
You see her gait fasten, happy,
She is happy seeing you.

Her heart flutters; company.
You sense her companionship,
And stroke her long mane.

She likes your company,
And you smile, knowing that too,
And walk her away, happy.
