Short story: One day, when it was bright and sunny, Chrinea was out in the grassy field collecting flowers when a yellow butterfly landed on her nose. It startled her, and she jumped back, losing the flowers out of her mouth and pouch. Once she noticed it was only a butterfly, she relaxed a little. Suddenly, her stomach growled, alerting her that she was hungry. She stared at the butterfly momentarily to decide wether or not to eat it. But it was so pretty that she decided not to. She once again picked up her flowers and skipped to where her home was. On the way, she noticed a large bush full of delicious, ripe berries! Squealing happily, she opened her mouth to take a bite of one of the berries when she began to hear a buzzing noise. Taking her head back and flattening her ears, she noticed there was a huge bee where she was about to eat! It took her a moment to realize what was going on, but she snapped to her senses and screamed as loud as she could.
The bee flew away in fright, and so did Chrinea. She ran full speed toward her house, not even bothering to open her eyes. That's when she slammed into something and flipped over it, smacking in to the front of her home. Opening her eyes hazily, Chrinea saw another dragon at her doorstep. The dragon was flat on the ground having been knocked over by Chrinea. Chrinea instantly blushed and began to slink away. The other dragon came to
his senses and shook his head. He took a look at Chrinea and smiled. He reached his mouth to the ground and took hold of a basket he had carried with him. Holding it out to Chrinea, he seemed to be offering it to her. Chrinea sniffed the basket suspiciously, and smelled lots of fresh, yummy fruit. As if in reply, her stomach growled again. She shyly took the basket from the other dragon, bowed her head in thanks, and retreated to her house.
Chrinea watched as the nice dragon frolicked away, having done what he had came for. She closed the door and plopped on to the floor. Nudging the top of the basket open with her nose, she spotted a crisp apple on top. Smiling happily, Chrinea grabbed the apple and took a big bite, thanking the other dragon again silently.
Personality: Chrinea is a very shy dragon. She wants to get along with all of the other dragons, but she's just too scared! Though every once in a while she will get a burst of enthusiasm and try to make friends. Because she is very nice, clean, and neat, other dragons want to be friends with her. Chrinea is very happy that others want to be around her, but she can only be with about one at a time or she begins to get very nervous and act strange. She will shrink onto the ground and try to scoot away on her belly backwards. Other dragons think it is weird and usually try to confront her, which makes her even more nervous! Her ears will go back and she will scoot away until she has reached something she can hide under, or a chance to run away.
After she has hidden for a while, she feels very upset with herself that she wasn't able to make any friends. She cheers herself up by eating tiny berries and collecting flowers. She loves to collect as many flowers as she can, and decorate her home with them. If one were to see her home, they would be astonished with how beautiful it is! Chrinea knows almost everything about flowers, something her coat color would not show. She likes to show that even though she looks dark and mysterious, she is friendly and loves nature.
Since she likes flowers, Chrinea always has butterflies and other little garden bugs around her. Though she does not like bees. They make her jumpy. When she spots one, she gets so frightened that instead of getting really shy and backing away slowly, she screams loudly and runs away. Though the bees do not normally chase her. While she is running, she hardly ever looks where she's going, which causes her to fall down holes and run into things.
If you win, what will you do with her? If I win Chrinea, I will draw lots of pictures of her, buy lots of art of her, and use her in roleplay. She will eventually find her way into my signature (When I figure out how to make oekaki with clear background XD)
