Keiran is a very outgoing type of person loving to be around people, feeling very comfortable around them. He really likes to interact with the others as well, telling stories of the past or even talking about his day. He likes to socialize more with the males of the species more than the females. Keir considers the females to cause too much drama in her life. He does like to talk a little too much though, but not enough to annoy people.

Short-Tempered
Keiran is very short-tempered and may show it when someone gets on his last nerve or if he doesn't like someone right off the bat. These whales have to work hard to get on Keiran's bad list though, because if you do he usually likes to tell you off even if you don't say anything to him. He seems to be more snappy and unlike himself around the people that he doesn't care for also, and may once in awhile try to start a fight.

Protective
Keiran is protective over the ones he loves, and the people that he hangs out with most of the time. If someone tries to pick on anyone of them, he will stand up to the person and try and make them back down from him. He does try to act like the bigger person, swimming around slowly and eyeing the other. This is a technique to try and frighten the whale of his size, not of his strength.

Unrelenting
Keiran is the type of whale who doesn't like to give up so easy. If he wants something than he won't give up on it, always trying his hardest to achieve his goals. He may seem consistent, but he tries not to be annoying with his persistency. This behavior is common to see with him, if he wants his goal to be achieved than he will go for it until he can finally make it happen.

Name: Either Snickers or Flare - I can't decide! Flare
Personality: Flare is a very easygoing, relaxed equid. He is quite curious and is always wandering around looking at random things. Most of the time, he is happiest when he is alone and doing his own thing but he enjoys chilling out with the other equids, usually challenging them in races as he loves to run - you will often find him chasing a butterfly or rabbit. Flare will stand up to another equid when they are bossing him around, but respects authority. Although he would be good at it, he doesn't want the responsibility of leading a whole herd. He never stresses about anything and is always reletively calm, never getting fired up. He is not one to take life seriously.

Personality:
In his quiet mood, he tends to be feeling a bit depressed or deep in thought when he is in this mood. He can get a lot of work done in this mood, but socially, this is the worst mood to find him in. In this mood, he is mostly very solitary and he will stay to himself a lot of the time. He will try to get as much done in this mood as possible to keep his mind off of something that was making him sad, or to focus on something that confuses him a lot. Dusk doesn't talk at all really in this mood, he is very silent as well as solitary so it is almost like he is invisible in this mood. Dusk can get a bit lonely in this of his moods since everybody usually ignores him when he happens to be in this mood because he can be a bit of a downer.
Dusk can also be a time-bomb just waiting to explode if you rub off on him the wrong way. He is usually a very tolerant equid most of the time, but if you anger him you will most definitely regret what you did that made him so very mad in the first place. When he is mad he will not stop until you are either gone from his sight, or apologizing genuinely. He holds horrible grudges though, not usually forgiving someone for the tiniest things for a long time. Dusk does eventually crack and give in on his anger though, since when he is angry he usually does not feel like the greatest equid ever. When he is angry you should probably either hide from him and wait it out, or just brace yourself in case he does not forgive you.
There are a few rare occasions when Dusk is actually pretty kind towards others. Mostly this is when he feels in harmony with the world, like things could not get any better than they already are. When he is like this it is more likely that he would be found with other equids. He is very inspired in this mood, and can do just about anything he sets his mind to. He is easily distracted though, so he still doe not get as much does as when he is all alone. Being quite energetic in this mood, he will normally be seen galloping around in a field of some sort. That is how you would know that now is the time to confront him about anything that has to do with him. He still can be a bit of a downer, not always looking at the bright side of things in a given situation.

Summanus

Origin of name:

Summanus was the Roman night-time god of thunder and lightning. The significance of his name will become apparent in his personality.

Personality:

If Summanus were to be depicted in a cartoon, he would have a little thundercloud floating over his head. Perpetually gloomy, he can suck the life out of a conversation just by passing by the speakers. Other equids feel very awkward around him, and try to get away from him as soon as they can. He is not aggressive or even particularly unkind. He simply has an aura of misery about him which deters even polite conversation. Even humans, who do not understand animal speech, pick up on his desolation and leave him well alone.

Eternally pessimistic, Summanus is convinced that he is cursed with extremely bad luck. He is also a hard-core hypochondriac, and is convinced that he is about to die at all times and that everything will kill him or is out to get him. With a flair for melodrama, but no enthusiasm to express it, he is always sighing woefully, limping, and his head hangs low on his shoulders. Subconsciously, this leads him to look for bad luck, to fulfill what he believes to be true. This acts as a further disincentive for other equids to associate with him. As a result, Summanus is friendless, loveless and has decided that he is fated to be that way.

Summanus can give the most cheerful occasion or conversation a funerary air. He doesn't try to do this. He was just born to spread discomfort and malcontent through the masses.

Some snatches of dialogue to prove my point:

1. A birth

Equid: Summanus! Did you hear? Calyptera just gave birth to twins!
Summanus: Oh. Did the foals die, or the mother?
Equid: [with some bewilderment] Erm, they're all healthy and well, actually.
Summanus: [with some certainty] That won't last long. One of them always dies in a twin birth.
Equid: ... [backs away]

2. The first day of spring

Equid: Summanus, guess what day it is today?
Summanus: The first day of the apocalypse?
Equid: No, silly! It's Spring!
Summanus: Oh.
Equid: [falters] Spring is nice, Summanus.
Summanus: Except for the flies and biting insects.
Equid: Oh.
Summanus: And the heat waves will probably kill off some of the foals. And the predators will be out now that the animals are giving birth. The Spring thunderstorms should come soon. If we're lucky, only a handful of us will be struck by lightning and killed on top of this mountain...
Equid: [leaves]

3. A simple greeting

Equid: Hello, Summanus!
Summanus: [looks awkward and dejected]
Equid: [with forced cheerfulness] How are you?
Summanus: Today, or in general?
Equid: To... Day?
Summanus: There's an ache in my far hind. I think I've fractured my pedal bone. I'll probably fall behind in the herd and be eaten by a mountain lion in the next few weeks.
Equid: [floundering] Oh, I'm sure it's not...
Summanus: My mother didn't want me, you know. She died rather than having to raise me.
Equid: ...
Summanus: You can leave now. It's alright. Everybody leaves.
Equid: [flees]

Name: Sterling Splendor (Sterling)
Personality: A wild, standoffish stallion who cares for nothing more than his freedom. Not very social or emotional, and prefers being on his own. Can be cold or vicious at times and is easily annoyed. The only time he ever shows a glimmer of compassion is in times of need or danger, where he will help anyone no matter how they have treated him. He's not one to accept thanks easily, and will often return gratefulness with an poorly comprised insult before going off on his own again.

Personality: He is normally quiet over autumn and winter but as soon as mating season arrives, like a caterpilla transforms into a butterfly he emerges, showing all the other equids who is boss, then, when he finds the mate he wants nothing will stop him from displaying his love, be it rolling on the ground in front of her, or standing tall and strong, his determinantion will always prevail. But as of yet he hasn't found his perfect, hopefully soon he can show his loyality to life long mate.

Personality: This guy is the quiet, shy type who all the fillies always wonder about. The older Equids don't bother with him, but the fillies always pester him. He's just a little different, likes to think before he acts. Everything is deep about this equid, his thought, passion, anger. Don't get on his bad side, he's quite fierce when pushed over the edge. The type that never forgets- ever.
