Story:
"Hey! What'cha doin'?!" called out a surfer-slang voice. It was lunchtime, and Prias was just prancing in the lake's water, enjoying the sun reflecting onto his back, as the water splashed onto his fur, the sun making the blue water seem to ripple with life. Prias turned his head to the mentor, Julan. Julan turned his head to Prias, his eyes expressing anger and patience. Prias stopped, the water making much more of a silent ripple. "...Uh...Having fun," Prias answered sheepishly. He then padded over to the shore, shook his wet coat, and went beside his mentor. Julan shook his head, a paw coming over his face, "Prias...what were we here to do?" he asked, looking into Prias's eyes once more, with a tone like iron, coated with sugar. Prias shrugged, before answering, "To...swim, Julan," he then whisked his tail impatiently, wantin to be in the water once again. He smiled, and Julan just waved a paw away, "Yes, Prias, so let us continue that. Now, swim, man! Swim!" Julan commanded, with an uproar. Prias jerked, and then sprinted into the water, swimming to the muddled of the lukewarm lake, with the summer winds and the after noon sun onto his back and neck, peacefully. Between each stroke, Prias felt the water go through his fur, and the tiny splashes of water swim by his paws, bubbles going to the surface. His body felt relaxed, content, like he was born to breathe and live in the water. He sighed, stroking some more, being tugged forward, to the other side of the lake, grinning with his fur sopping wet. He arose, shook his fur dry, and sat on the bank, watching the sun go down. "Great job, Prias," he grinned, "Let's do some more...tomorrow."
Other: nothing I guess....

Why did you choose him?: Because of his patterns and coloring; resembling the sun, good, fire, as well as light.
