Personality [of pet]: A quirky dog. Plain and simple. I mean, what dog goes around chewing on a character from Kingdom Heart's hair? Such a silly dog. He is quite a happy soul, his tail often wagging every waking minute...and every minute he is asleep. Keep away from that tail. He is a sweet and loving animal. He can get a bit feisty, but only if he had a bad night or he gets treated poorly. Otherwise, he is a great dog who will stay by your side to the end.

Background/History [of pet]: A soft breeze blows through the park, the nightly breeze bringing silence to all the previous noises. The only sound comes from the trampling of paws on dew covered grass and the swinging of a rather large pendant. A young Basset Hound yawns as he continues to walk through the park, obviously in search of something. He sticks his nose to the ground, sniffing the plant-life for whatever it is he is looking for. He lifts his head in a howl, his tail wagging as he runs forward, slightly to the right from his original path. There lies a young man, asleep on the ground. His hair is styled in such an odd way, his clothes not like most people. His hair is blonde, his skin is white, but not pale. His clothes are black, red and white with checkers going up the shoulders from the waist of his jacket. A little silver object which poses as a zipper hangs at his chest. This human looks to be in his middle teen years. The young Basset Hound, known as Slipper, walks up to this unconscious man and sits down. He simply stares at this human, his tail ceasing to stop wagging happily. Finally he lays down, licking at the young man's hair. His tail wags faster as he begins to chew on blonde hair. A sudden groan comes from the man, but it doesn't stop Slipper from chewing on the guy's hair. The young man slowly sits up, shaking his head to clear it. He doesn't seem to notice Slipper until he touches his hair, feeling the slimy dog slobber from Slipper. "Gross! Ugh..." The man's eyes find the Basset Hound, a small smile appearing on his lips. "Hey there. What are you doing here all by you-Wait! Namine!! Where is she?" He looks around furiously for this woman called "Namine". Slipper looks at the guy with an odd look. He has no clue what "Namine" means. All he cares about is that he can't chew on the man's hair now that he is awake. Oh how that Basset Hound wished he could just nibble a little longer on that heavenly hair...
(Random little story that came into my head. XD)

Use [for pet]: Slipper...how to explain how much I love this little guy and how I'd use him. I have a CS fursona, which hasn't been for long, but I believe this little guy would become my new fursona for CS. He is so adorable and I would simply be disappointed if I wasn't able to get this wonderful bundle of joy. I will take such wonderful care of him. He will find a spot in my OC thread and like I said, he will most likely become my new fursona. I love him that much! I love his design. I've loved Basset Hounds for a long time now, though I think at one point I kind of thought they were ugly...ahem, anyway. I love Basset Hounds, but it never occurred to me to make myself a BH as a character. So, I'm happy to be able to try out for this little guy. I will make plenty of art of him, plus he will be a possible new fursona of mine.

Appearance: Slipper is a black, brown and white Basset Hound. His back is mostly black, with a white splotch moving from his belly up his left side. He has a white long, wide stripe running down from his forehead to his mouth, little light brown spots here and there down it. The same little brown spots go down his arms and across his chest. The coloring on his hips are giant brown splotches, a smaller on on his left shoulder. Slipper often likes to wear a white and power blue newsboys hat and a pendant that resembles N's cube(Pokemon). His tail starts out black, but changes into brown, then to white at the tip. His eyes are a dark olive green, often shining with his inner happiness.

I have really wanted an anthro character for a long time, and when I saw Fray it was instant love, her design, her pose, even her name I absolutely love!
If I win her she will have a place of pride in my character thread.
I will draw her but you will have to ask me to see the pictures as I am still developing anthro skills and will probably be to embarrassed to submit anthro art for a while but I will buy up art of her!
I will make up a little group, Fray included and I will write some stories about them.

Fray can be quite social when the mood hits her and will enjoy being around small or large groups easily so long as she knows some of the people there, once she is comfortable she can be quite the social butterfly.
Despite all this she does like her own time to recharge and will become rather snappy and antisocial if this limit on being with people is pushed. She doesn’t mind being alone, it’s just something she likes to do, put in headphones with no one around and just switches off.
Fray loves to show playful affection to her friends, often joking around and often she isn't too keen on having people invade her space bubble however and will often get slightly snappy if this is invaded.
Fray has a reputation of being a bit of a nerd but despite this she is well liked by everyone although she still may have slight trouble making friends although despite this everyone knows Fray, she is quite happy to move between friends although she is usually friends with everyone and best friends with once person, she likes to control her friend goup although she never let's anyone else know this.
She is quite trusting and will usually develop stronger bonds with people over time, not instantly as she uses the term friend very lossley.

Fray prefers to work alone only because she finds it hard to rely on others to get their side of the work does and she can get anxious if it isn't, although she is a pretty good procrastinator herself she still would much rather work alone.
She takes critisism to heart although will never show it, and would rather die then let people know she has taken it on board.
Fray is a rather curious person and will often try and get to the bottom of things, she has a very set mind when she want's something and this may annoy some people but it gets her the answer for the problem.
Fray dosn't ususaly have a plan, preffering just to go with the flow and edit her plans where needes, she believes having a plan decreases flexibility, she also usually procrastinates quite a bit, she often spends half if not all of the time procrastinating and freaking out at the last minute.
Fray is messy in an organized sort of way, every now and again she will do a big clean up but mostly everything is all over the place but it dosn't matter because she knows where everything is anyway.

Background
Fray was born in Milano, Italy on the 21st of April 1990,
It was immediate to her proud parents and older brother that she was going to be a quiet one, she was a healthy baby however she didn’t cry as much as most babies.

When she was two it was apparent she didn’t want her mother’s constant fussing, preferring to spend her time playing out in the backyard with her four year old brother, she was never needy and was quite independent, and often getting into mischief.

By the time she was five it was clear she had the normal brother sister relationship, fighting constantly over everything a five and seven year olds could possibly find to fight about.

At seven years old Fray and her family moved to Australia as they found it a better lifestyle, from there Fray had to learn english, being young it didn't take her long however she still speaks italian at home, she preferes to live in Australia but often visits italy and sees her family. After her and her brother moved out of home her parents moved back to italy and although she dosn't mind this being quite independent she still finds it kind of annoying to only be able to see her parents every so often.

Her school teachers were always commenting on how smart she was however she much preferred to do all the arty activities and often wouldn’t concentrate on other pursuits.
As she continued on in her schooling she was well liked by everyone but not popular, she was too shy to be popular however this didn’t stop her quietly going about her schooling.

Once she turned 13 and went into high school she really started to work harder, her grades went up and she cruised through highschool, passing her exams with slight difficulty however no more than the other students, she graduated and instead of going to the world famous Schoolies her parents sent her to Italy where she got to see some of her family again.

When she turned 19 1/2 she started to rent an apartment, her new Job as a Graphic artist enough to support her and this is where she lives today, she is happy with her life and would choose no other.

Yellow is one of Fray's favorite colours because is it so bright and it instantly cheers her up!
Blue is a favorite of Frays because it just seems to suite her, she loves it because it can be interpreted in a range of different things.
Green is her favorite because it is the colour of her eyes; she has always loved emerald green and will often wear the colour.

Fray loves the beach with a passion, despite being born and grown in Italy she loves Australia and the beach and could never leave it, that's where she can often be found on a hot day, even if she doesn’t swim she just loves being there!

One thing Fray can't get enough of is Mango flavored ice creams, they taste the best and they cool you down on a hot day, she likes other ice creams but by far her favorite is the mango and she is a regular down at the local general store because of it.

It was the love that led her to her job, from an early age Fray loved being an artist and for her 14th birthday her parents bought her a Graphic Tablet to aid in her pursuits, it wasn't until halfway through grade ten however did she actually decide to become a Graphic Artist, she loves drawing animals the best.

She hated Blue Bottles, she can never tell when they've drifted into shore until one has wrapped around her leg which happens rather often, she doesn’t kill them however, she just doesn’t have that side in her, and however she has quite a colorful vocabulary and will definitely use it!

She absolutely despises when people do idiotic things to the point when it might hurt themselves or others, she will grumble to herself and anyone who is listening in this case, she won't really take action but if it is quite bad she might notify police or lifeguards.

I first saw Shiko many, many months ago when I made art for their owner for another character. I didn't see him for a long time after that but when I started getting characters from SCAA I was so upset to see Shiko in the list... He had been a love of mine for a while. I haven't found a lot of muse for him but it breaks my heart each time I see him still in the list, he deserves so much more... So here I am, doing everything I can (with a low muse level for history) to give this sweet boy the loving home he needs and deserves.

Well Jennifer plays a very large part in Shiko's story, so how could I even adopt him with out adopting his 'Nerd girl'?

Shiko is the 'popular guy' in the crowd. Every girl wants him and he doesn't want every girl. He can be a bit of a J*rk at times but that's only because he has girls stroking his ego almost 24/7. Under neath he is a big cuddly teddy bear... He has his eyes stuck on Jennifer, curious about how different she is compared to other girls and confused by the fact that she's not all gaga over getting attention from him. Most girls are begging for his attention. He's seeking to get to know her better.

~Life Together~

Shiko wandered up the road to the school, his head phones in and blaring rock music. As he reached the old boring school he heard a girls voice calling his name, followed by another, and another. He smiled and waved to three girls walking along the fence waving back at him. He jogged to the edge of the fence and circled around and was instantly clobbered by the happy chattering girls who had loads of gossip to share about who was dating who and what rumor was about what. Jax smiled and listened to their many stories as they walked into the school and down the halls. They past a group of girls who were chatting about some new video game that just came out last week. They were the opposite of the girls around them, their hair was messy, two of them wore thick glasses, and one... As he glanced at her he saw a strange look in her eyes, not one of jealousy like most girls and some guys gave him, but one of apology. As if she was sorry he had to live through this everyday.
As he looked over her, with her thick brimmed glasses, messy ponytail, headband, and jogging pants, he was amazed to find himself thinking about how beautiful and real she was. Not covered up or faking like the three girls around him. She was the real thing, no makeup, no fake smile or laughter. Suddenly he felt very unhappy, realizing how fake the life he was living was. It was all a lie. Everyone pretending to be something they weren't to get his attention. He turned his gaze back to where he was walking, feeling the girls pulling him this way and that to get his focus on them. He felt someone push him back against the wall of lockers, breaking his focus. "Ko-ko, you haven't invited me to the prom yet!" He hear the partly whining voice of his girlfriend Sara. "Well...Would you like to go?" he asked with his award winning smile. She giggled and nodded "I would love to!!" She exclaimed before wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him. He kissed her back, his hands resting on the small of her back and pulling her closer to him. But his eyes were elsewhere, looking back down the hall at the group of girls still talking about math and video games...
"Ko-ko baby!" Sara exclaimed "What is with you today?! Your acting totally weird!" she whined her hand moving his face so he was looking back at her. "Oh, sorry Sara...I just....have a lot on my mind." he said making an excuse. "Well, I should be on your mind right now! The prom is on Friday!" she complained before walking him down the hall to class. The rest of the day past as a blur, full of girls, drama, love, hate, and more till by the end of the day when he was exhausted and he still had to do stuff at home. As he walked back down the familiar road home he happen to glace up to see the bus pass. He heard people inside the bus calling insults at someone but didn't see who it was till the bus had passed. It was that girl from earlier. He watched as the spat insult after insult at her, one even through an empty pop can out the window as they past knocking the history books from her arms. Shiko gave a pained look, knowing she lived almost next door to him and he had past her almost everyday on the way to school but had never even said hello. Finally with a sigh as the bus turned the corner he jogged across the street and headed towards he as she fumbled trying to get her books back in a pile. He saw her give an almost startled look, probably because she was watching the most popular guy in school helping to pick up her books. He handed her the pile after a second with a small smile and nod and she gave a small shy smile in return. "Thanks..." she said quietly, taking the books and standing. Jax stood and nodded before giving a curious look, "Whats your name?" he asked having never officially met her...

Jennifer spend her days studying and hanging out with her friends. She was like every other teen girl, she just wanted to fit in. To be loved... but for some reason no matter what she did they always turned away. She felt as if she was screaming at them, but they wouldn't listen. So she was left on the outside, an outcast. She was never searched for when it came to finding someone to attend the prom with, she didn't have that group of pretty girls around her, or anything she wanted so badly. She was mocked day after day about her being 'special' and being called 'four eyes' over and over just because she wore glasses. She was shocked the day Shiko spoke to her. She had wanted for so long for him to just ask her her name. It seemed stupid but it meant so much to her, after all no one else would talk to her. She had tried so hard the first day of school to fit in, trying to be someone she wasn't. But still people were stopped by the look of her wide brimmed glasses, strangely colored hair, and shyness.It was rare that anyone outside of a few friend (who were also like her) would ever talk to her. It was like a dream come true! She tried hard not to blush as she answered, "Jennifer." she said quietly, her voice barely able to be heard. Jax smiled and nodded, "Nice name, sorry about those guys by the way. We can be jerks some times..." he commented as she took the books."Um...well, I guess. I-I should be going..." she said nervously, before turning and beginning to walk down the street.

Shiko and Jennifer's story will always be a work in progress, their story is always growing...

But for SCAA sake, this form is a WIP.
