Need. -steals and runs-

Gender} Male.

Before I start with Fig's story, I'd like to share some information about him that I feel is relevant in understanding exactly what he's all about <3 Fig is, and always has been, obsessed with little rhymes and poems. Ever since he was little, he's collected a huge store of them and memorized as many that could fit into his brain. He just loves how fluent they sound when spoken, and will hum or sing them under his breath when he needs to focus. Another use for these peculiar paragraphs can be particularly apparent when speaking with him. You see, Fig can be a little awkward. He finds it difficult to communicate with JBD that he doesn't know well enough, and can sometimes stumble over his words. He uses his little rhymes in his sentences to allow him to appear more confident, and to distract from the fact he's uncomfortable. Alongside this, Fig is also fascinated with tongue twisters. Don't be surprised if you walk past him and hear him muttering under his breath- it's his coping mechanism when he gets stressed. He finds that it's easier to express himself when using the words of someone else, and for him, these quirky habits come completely naturally. He has an array of imaginary friends, finding them a lot less demanding than real ones. Saying this, he is very close with Quest- a little pink hummingbird that usually stays with him all the time.

Story}

"Which wristwatches are Swiss wristwatches?"

"Come on, which wristwatches are Swiss wristwatches?"

I pause. To be honest, I'm a little irritated Quest could be beat so easily. Usually her mind is much sharper than mine. She's sitting on a flat rock in front of me, ruffling her bright feathers this way and that. For a moment I am fixated on the way the soft sunlight glimmers from her wings, catching the light and fragmenting into hundreds of tiny rainbows. But then I pull my mind back.

"Mmm... She begins tantalizingly. "I don't know, Fig. Which wristwatches are-" She breaks off, looking disgruntled. "Which wristwashes...Which wristwatshes are..." I can't suppress my laughter any more, and begin to giggle, rolling onto my back and waggling my tail. "You can't say it, can you?" I grin. "It's a tongue twister." Quest shoots me a withering look. "And how many hours did you spend learning to say it?" She snaps. "Seven." I tell her seriously, which is no lie.
