JBD Name: Aero
Size: about 4 feet in length, 2 feet tall.
About: Aero is a very energetic, carefree JBD. He is very immature, goofy, and adventurous, which often gets him into trouble. Aero loves to hang out with his friends and play games like tag. He
loves to eat Peanut butter, and will be prepared to fight for it if he sees it. He loves Halloween time because of all the candy and costumes, although hates people that give out jellybeans; he thinks they are feeding him Jelly Bean Dragon eggs. Aero loves running around in fields; chasing deer and other animals.
Art: http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=964454&start=0Story: Aero, a small, furry creature with red and pink fur and small areas of black, lay in the soft bed given to him by his owners. He listened to the soft voices of the humans, speaking in an unknown language. "Is Aero awake?" They had always said
Aero when he was around, so he assumed it was his name. He forced himself to stand, and lumbered out into the humans` room.
It can`t be morning already... I just sat down... Aero thought. The smallest human walked over, placing a leathery strap around his neck. He had worn this many times, and the humans called them "collars." They then led him to the home`s opening, and out of the house. He was correct; it was night time. The stars lit up the black sky, forming several constellations. He looked around. People were wandering about, and larger people were handing them items. The smaller people were adorned with costumes of anything you could think of; dragons, wolves, pirates, cats.....
wait.... Aero thought. He looked more closely. The larger humans were handing out candy! He bounded around, squealing with exitement. He looked up at his humans just as one reached down to steady him. Another human put some kind of hat on him.
Probably my costume! As soon as the humans were finished, they strolled over to the neighboring house, and his humans gently pounded their fists on the door. Suddenly, a familiar scent flooded into him. The door opened, and an older human handed everyone a piece of candy. He looked up at her, and she handed him a large bar. He sniffed it.
Peanut butter! Aero engulfed the bar. He looked into the human`s house, and saw where the familiar scent was coming from. Towards the back of the house was a jar of peanut butter! He looked at his owners. They were talking with the older human. He took his chance, and leapt into the human`s house, breaking free of his collar, and bolted toward the peanut butter.
Yes, almost there..... Then, the older human grabbed Aero right before he reached the jar, and brought him back to his owners. He squirmed free, and bolted back to the human`s kitchen. Aero leapt up onto the table, knocking it over, sending the jar flying into the floor. He got back down, and grabbed the jar in his jaws, and carried it back to his owner. He looked expectantly at his owner, as if expecting praise, but he was picked up, and brought back home, all the while the humans wore frustrated expressions.
But.. what`d I do.... Aero thought. The humans unhooked his broken collar strap, and set it by a chair, and they sat down and spoke to each other in their language. Their expressions pointed towards something bad happening. He lumbered back to his bed, and placed the jar next to himself.
What`d I do... He thought as he drifted off into sleep. Hours later, he was abruptly awoken. he was in some sort of cage, being carried away from home into a large, smelly vehicle.
What`s happening? He looked around desperately. The cage was locked from the outside. He let out a fearful screech as his cage was tossed into the vehicle, and the door closed in front of him, leaving him in the dark. Every once in a while, the whole vehicle would hit a bump, and his cage would bounce. Later, they arrived at a building with the letters "A. d. o. p. t. i. o. n. C. e. n. t. e. r." painted on its` wooden walls. The humans brought him inside, and placed him into a cage with a soft padding on the bottom. They signed a few papers, and left.
Wait! Come back!.... where am I?.... He screeched again, this time much louder. The cages around him were filled with cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, and ferrets. He had to escape.
Not now, though..... He drifted back into sleep.
Days had passed since arriving at this horrible building.
midnight.... Aero silently got up. He then watched a janitor stroll into the room. He let out an innocent cry. The janitor looked up, and walked over to Aero`s cage, and unlocked the door so he could pet the little dragon. Aero then bit down hard on the janitor`s hand, and held on as the human jerked his hand away. He leapt away from the cage, and ran through the halls, looking for an exit. There were huge spinning doors at the entrance. He ran out, and off into the woods. The cold night wind stung his fur like a swarm of bees.
Houses! He ran towards the heavenly sight; many houses lit up by inner lights. When he reached the houses, he slowed to a stop. This wasn`t home. He yowled, and walked around, looking for his owners. They weren`t here. "Aww, look! What are you, little creature?" A voice called. Aero spun around, finding himself face-to-face with a human child. The child picked him up, gently stroking his soft fur. "What`s your name" She said. Aero, to the best of his ability, spoke. "A... ero... Aero!"
