Wow, looks like I missed some interesting conversations when I was sleeping.

I think it's a shame that people have negative things to say about this project. But the fact is that even when it was just banners made for Maus's thread, there were people with Spread The Love in their signatures who were being just as cruel as they were before - I know, I was on the receiving end of some of it. So there are people who have been and are being really hypocritical, taking the banners because they think they're cute but not caring what they stand for.

However, I think other people out there who have a problem with that kind of situation need to realize that that is the fault of the individual, not the project.

Personally, I'm trying really hard to distance myself from people who are going to make me feel bad and who will make it hard for me to keep positive. I'm also trying to distance myself from the 'fursona nazi' label, which is really hard for me to do because sometimes people make comments about fursonas that really offend me, but I know ganging up and yelling at someone isn't going to change their minds.
